The apartment has everything you need and the owners are very friendly and helpful. The garden and pool are a lovely place to relax after sightseeing

Fabulous apartment with really great views, and a lovely garden and pool. The hosts Ian and Maria were lovely, super helpful and welcoming. There is a decent supermarket nearby, that also does hot food to takeaway, and a bus stop at the end of the street if you don't fancy the walk down or back uphill. Comfortable beds, well equipped studio apartment, clean, great bathroom and a nice location. All looks exactly like the photos. I would 100% stay here again if I return to Madeira

Very welcoming place, with friendly and helping hosts at a beautiful place. I would recommend.

We had a fabulous fortnight here. The apartment was very spacious, clean and comfortable. The garden and pool area were pretty and had plenty of different seating areas. The best thing about this gem of a hotel is the owner and his family. They gave us a lovely warm welcome and went above and beyond our expectations to ensure we had a wonderful holiday. They were exceptionally caring. Thank you for sharing your wonderful home with us 😀

An excellent location if you want to be away from the crowds. It's easy to walk into town or get a local bus. The hosts are very friendly and accommodating. A lovely garden to relax in beside the pool. If I ever return to Madeira I know where I'll be staying again

Cannot recommend this apartment highly enough. Wonderful quiet location, 15 minute walk downhill into town. Ian, the proprietor could not have been more helpful.

Honestly, did not dislike anything about this apartment and break. The only thing wrong was that we didn't stay long enough

I don’t even know where to begin… The accomodation was great, with a private kitchen and bathroom. Spacious, clean, good beds, quiet area. The outdoor patio was nice, with separate seating areas and a pool with loungers. It was a 20 minute steep down/up hill walk to the city centre, but with a bus stop next door. Overall great location. But what made it fantastic were the hosts. They were all I could want for my first solo vacation. A little chat here, a safety check there, really really awesome people. Definitely recommend staying here!!

What a wonderful place to stay in Funchal! Everything was perfect. Comfortable accommodations, beautiful property, great location, attentive and responsive hosts, excellent value for the price. And at the end of our stay, Ian cheerfully drove us back to the airport at 2:45am. We made many good memories and we look forward to our next visit!
