The Ritz-Carlton, Laguna Niguel

I visited for a one night staycation after wanting to stay here for a long time. The hotel exceeded my high expectations, it's super nice!!! And service was great, especially from Camille at the front desk - she was very helpful at check in and remembered me when I came back to the front desk to ask a question hours later. She seemed to genuinely want me to have a great stay, thank you Camille! The rooms are recently updated, they look great the bed is super comfy. I got an ocean view room and absolutely loved sitting on the balcony and watching the surfers catch waves, I could sit on that balcony all day. It's an easy walk to the beach (and a golf cart is available if there are mobility issues) and there's a little airstream trailer with beach rentals. I borrowed a chair and got lunch off property at Young's Beach Shack, which was great. The on property dining options all looked amazing, with fabulous views. $75 valet overnight parking and $66 resort fee are pretty steep, but I noticed a lot of free things included in the resort fee, like sunblock and swim diapers at the pool, free water bottles in the room and the gym, beach equipment rentals... The hotel is stunningly beautiful, I just loved walking around and soaking it all in, I can't wait to come back.

Service was okay. The view you can't beat, Laguna Beach sunset is something else! Room can be better, feel old and sticky. Photography service said "free session" but end up needing to pay to get them, which is ridiculous prices, the photographer is fun but barely know what he doing, photo come out pretty bad. For a fancy hotel, their accommodation standard are pretty low.

Gorgeous hotel. The rooms are super clean and the beds insanely comfortable. Views for days. The food in the restaurants was also top notch.

Spectacular views, superlative service, incredible rooms. The main pool was under construction during our stay, so some amenities weren’t available; the secondary pool is a bit small and less sunny, but still lush and comfortable. Direct access to an expansive public beach that wasn’t particularly crowded (yet—we were ahead of peak season). House restaurant, Raya, is a wonderful place for breakfast or lunch to enjoy forever ocean views and sunset; but dinner menu is top notch as well. Pricey (especially in peak season) and caters to a business clientele, but easily a top contender for a romantic weekend or special occasion.

Wonderful stay here...the ocean views are amazing. Nice balconies...try to get a corner room with views in both directions. The sunsets themselves are worth the price of admission! Staff and service were top notch. Food was excellent, including the wonderful options at the Ritz Club (highly recommended, staff there really tries to go out of their way to accommodate). We never left the property. Thank you to the Team for everything!

We decided to celebrate our wedding anniversary at the Ritz Carlton to enjoy the beautiful coastline. The hotel is beautiful and the location offers incredible views. We were lucky that we got to enjoy a beautiful sunny day with a drop dead gorgeous sunset from our oceanfront room! The real reason I am taking the time to write this review is to give credit where it is due. I want to thank the staff for turning what started out as a bad day for me into an amazing day. From the moment we pulled up into valet parking, we were greeted with smiles and kindness from employees who made it clear that we chose the right hotel. At the front desk we were greeted by Camille who checked us into our room. She went above and beyond to make us feel special for our anniversary. I told her I had a rough start to our day but her kindness and exceptional customer service skills truly was a blessing. She offered us wine, complimentary aroma packs and upgraded our room. When we walked into our room we were grateful to God for how the staff at this hotel made me forget about the rough start to our day. The servers at 180blu were polite and attentive as well. It was the perfect place to unwind and enjoy the ocean breeze with a great meal. Thank you so much for the experience! Your employees are the best!

We had the most fabulous night out with friends who were in town from Nashville. The view is amazing and our server Keri H was the best in town. She was friendly, made amazing recommendations and treated us like royalty. Thank you Keri for making our night amazing! 5 stars for all!
