Courtyard Manassas Battlefield Park

Our stay was good. The breakfast was to-go bags with quick breakfast items and you can heat up frozen sandwiches and take coffee to go. The room was clean. We had a king suite. It didnt have a table to eat at with my husband but its ok because we were in the room a lot. The fridge is tiny and there is no in room microwave. They gave us a renovated room with a nice sized standup shower.

We had a renovated room and it was wonderful. The shower door is hard to open and close, using a curved design is a weird choice. Our instructions to get around the construction to our room weren’t very good. Walked around the entire hotel, through the courtyard, and finally through the construction area to find the correct elevator. Signage would be helpful. The 2 guys working over night were fantastic and very friendly! Having snacks available for purchase at the front desk was clutch.

Nice room but had to drag a floppy cart with luggage through a construction area just felt very strange but the young man who helped us was extremely nice and kind.

The hotel was under significant renovations. They did provide complimentary breakfast items . But lobby and bistro were not available. Beds were comfortable but not the pillows which were uniformly flat.

It’s not posted any where that this place was under construction. When I checked in, and was assured that the room I was staying in was completely updated I was relieved. However, after hauling my luggage over the thick carpeted floors that seemed to eat the wheels on my bag, my room door wouldn’t open. Not by fault of the room key mind you, but that the door was stuck because the paint had sealed it shut, and body weight wouldn’t even budge it. After letting the person at the temporary desk know, I was switched to a room on a different floor. Dragging my luggage yet again on carpet that seemed to have a vendetta on anything getting past it. There was a light switch in the room that did nothing, fingerprints all over the counters, the parking lot light that flickered directly into the bedroom, and a stinky mini fridge. Ice machine on that floor was shut down, pool room was left a mess with towels everywhere and empty cups. I went to go ask for a couple of waters, and to my surprise when I got the bill…I was charged $7 for two bottles of Aquafina. I honestly thought with all of the trouble I went through at 10:30pm, at least water would be covered since there was none in the room, and there is not even an ice machine or complementary water any where. I asked for a late checkout since I had been up for 24hrs because of travel, but really not needed since I got a complimentary wake up call by a vacuum cleaner at 11am right outside my door. Should have slept at the airport.

it was great the room was nice and clean they were remodeling during my stay so i dont have much to say in regards to the loby and and initial feel of walking in. but staff was nice and professional. i did take a trip to the indoor pool during my stay im not sure if they are going to remodel that area as well but it felt really outdated and the walls of the pool itself was pretty dirty and disgusting looking there was grime caked along the top of the pools walls at the water line. the pool also felt very small and the area itself was underwhelming. the courtyard area was nice. if you are on the bottom floor there isnt any patio space like the upper levels balconies, its just mulch which i feel like would just bring mulch into the rooms if you go out. currently where they are doing remodeling the parking is kind of horrible we had to park far from the entrance closest to our room. but other than that this place was great i hope the things i mentioned are better after the remodel but either way i will most likely return if i travel that way again

I came with my family for a wedding. Family and friends had about 15 rooms. The place is under construction so there was no lobby. Had to go around the corner to a side door. In the hall was a small area where they had refrigerator unit with drinks etc for sale and a table which was the front desk. They told me the restaurant was closed but they would have a bag breakfast in the morning available. It was 3 pm and I couldn’t check in because there were so many people checking out late that they didn’t have the room available. They told me that they were completely booked and actually overbooked by 6 rooms for the week. I went out to my rental car and waited about 20 minutes until I could check in. I was in the elevator and went to the 2nd floor but the door wouldn’t open. I tried all the buttons and still wouldn’t move. Finally pushed the alarm button. Suddenly it began to go down. A couple had pushed the button downstairs and it went back down. But we couldn’t get it to go up. Maintenance came and reset it in an operation closet. We went up fine. Got to my room and it was a very nice remodeled room. I really like the walk in shower. It was all updated except something was wrong with the carpet. It was all lumpy like it hadn’t been stretched when installing. I called and asked for a microwave and within 2 minutes they had a little unit at my door. So I was ready with a mini fridge and microwave. I went back out to the elevator to leave and go down. But the door on the elevator didn’t close but began to go up. It went up about a foot with the door still open then made a clunk, the doors shut and it went down. I let the hotel know and left. Didn’t have any problems with the elevator after that but I was leery every time I got into it. My family and friends began to arrive the next day. The hotel had overbooked and so there wasn’t room for them. Even though they had confirmation numbers. After dealing with the hotel staff that didn’t know what they were doing it was finally resolved after 9 hours. I placed a do not disturb sign on my door and when I came back someone had come into my room too place a letter on the desk to invite me to join their bonvoy program. I spoke to the manager and asked what would have happened if I was in there sleeping and why couldn’t they slip it under the door? I received an apology. There was a side door near the elevator that you could enter through. It had a lock on and a sign that said to use my room key to unlock the door. The whole 7 days I was here the door was never locked. Anyone could walk in. About 75% of the parking lot had storage containers in it. It made for limited parking. For breakfast the bag had, One mini muffin, some kind of small cinnamon thing like a little pop tart. A bottle of juice, and a green apple. They had a table set up in the hall with a little microwave. With some kind of breakfast sandwich to microwave. There was also a bowl of ice with small yogurts and bottle of skim milk. They also had small containers of cereal where you peel pack the lid and add the milk. I tried one of those and the cereal was so stale I had to throw it away. The last day I was there I asked if they had any bananas. They put out a whole bunch of them, that was the first time I saw these all week. Family members had rooms that hadn’t been redone. They were bad. They also had problems with no one coming in to clean their room. Rooms were cleaned one time in 7 days even though they requested it repeatedly. I do not recommend staying at this hotel. When I got home someone from the hotel called as my daughter had contacted them because they had billed my daughter for my room. When I checked in I had given them my credit card and they couldn’t find it in my information anywhere. They asked if I had any problems. I told them everything that had happened to me. He said he would give me one night stay for free, which he took off my bill. After a week I feel like this was too late for all that happened. I am glad that he did do this but feel it should have happened sooner. I will never stay here again.

It was basically closed and had no amenities. It was a fraud, claiming the rooms were one thing and then checking in at a card table at the back door near the dumpsters. The front lobby was closed and all the lights were out. We had a 4 day stay planned but ended up moving our the next day. Shame on Marriott for pretending this location was viable. We did not take pictures.
