Courtyard Manassas Battlefield Park

The hotel is currently undergoing renovations. We could not find the front desk for 10 minutes, the rooms are not well kept.

No breakfast

When we booked we were not informed that the building was under restoration. That was awful but the staff were very nice.

This is one of the worst hotels ever, and considering I've stayed something like 10,000 nights in hotels that's saying something. They don't tell you they are undergoing a major renovation when you rent. 75 percent of the parking lot is being used for storage and equipment. Mold is being blown through the halls. The entrance ceiling had a water event and is torn out without dust containment. My toilet was not working. This place is a wreck.

We were disappointed with the stay; it made the short vacation uncomfortable. Upon first arriving we were given key cards to a room that had been occupied and was not clean yet; the front desk clerk said there was an error in the system sometimes and they are unable to see the rooms that are ready to be assigned to the people that are checking in and instead given the rooms that are already in use. The next room we were given had a broken sliding door and a pipe was left on the window sill. Aside from that, the cards stopped working several times and we were only on the property for a day and a half. The cards gave us lots of problems entering the hotel room and in the first full day the card did not allow us to enter the building through the side. We had to get replacement cards. The room itself was not very clean either.

The Courtyard Manassas was centrally located to where we planned on visiting, we expected internet, however, we had to use our phones for internet. No one answered the phone for room service. No breakfast was included. Outside of these inconveniences, the room was spacious and clean and the location was perfect if you are visiting the Historic Manassas battlefields.

We were told we would receive a light breakfast, we couldn't even get coffee and water without an extra fee (which I don't mind, just don't tell me its included when I check in).
