Courtyard Manassas Battlefield Park

Bathroom wall paint was chiped in a few places, empty hardware on the same wall should have been removed or new hardware hung,no lotion in the bathroom, carpet needs to be replaced and front desk clerk struggled. Overall the hotel was in poor condition. I would not recommend it.

We arrived around 11:30 pm, after six or so hours of driving and attending a concert at Jiffy Lube Amphitheater. A message I had sent earlier through the app advising of our late arrival, was unanswered until after we actually checked out the next day. The woman working the Front Desk was unwelcoming, curt, and like about fifty percent of Courtyard Front Desk, didn’t acknowledge my hard-earned Platinum status, and unfamiliar with our choice of Welcome Gift. “Do you want the points??” was as close to a welcome as I got. When I told her I wanted the $10 Starbucks credits, she looked at me like she had never heard of it. “You mean the $10 F&B credit??” I said yes, both of them (Member plus one per night) I guess staring directly at The Bistro for hours at a time had not impressed the term Starbucks to her, and required correcting me. She asked me if I had stayed there before (something other Marriott employees have told me is visible, depending on software) and I advised her yes. She said”Well then you know we are having trouble with all the external doors. You can go out them, but you must come back in at the main door.” I hadn’t been here in over a year, and wasn’t familar with thst, but thanks for the info. Other employees were nice. The lobby chairs by the TV were wirn and wobbly. The coffee cup in my room had a hole in it and coffee went everywhere. Everything else was acceptable, but as a twelve year Platinum Member, I am tiring of the antagonist attitude when you ask for your choice of Welcome Gift, and the heres your card see ya check-ins. It’s part of the program and you are not asking for special treatment, and friendly check in is general courtesy. Also, some Courtyards give you a F&B voucher, some advise you to tell the Barista before you order. She did neither and I was too tired to ask. Do better, Marriott.

The customer service is awful. I can't get ahold of anyone at a bad experience.

Multiple doors not working to get in, the door to our room would not open. We had to lift the door to open it. When we left the door would not close because the lock was broken. Hotel is very dated. The hotel charged me for my stay even though I had already paid. Overall not a pleasant stay.

The staff. Shakeya was both friendly and incredibly helpful. She and the night manager were the best part of my stay.

Getting over to the gym was odd and I got locked out.

Good size rooms, clean, sliding doors and personal patio areas

I booked two rooms close together. I was told the second room just needed to be cleaned. They gave it to someone else as soon as it was…this happened twice. I made reservations over a month ago. They put my disabled mother on the other side of the hotel.

Bistro area was unsatisfactory Waiting to order and did not get the food order correct

The layout of the suite was nice

The property looked to be going through some renovation. When we checked in we were not told that the only doors that worked were the main doors. The parking lot is on the other side of the property. I am disabled and it was quite a walk all the way around the property to the main doors(there are not handicap spots by the main doors) and then our room was on the opposite side with a door right next to it that didn’t work. The parking lot is quite dark and the construction workers were camping in the woods right off the parking lot and in a trailer. It was definitely not ADA compliant. The ice machines were also out of order. The staff were not helpful, they didn’t seem to care really. The GM sat in his office and could hear our conversation and never moved from his chair or offered to help. I’ve stayed at this brand before and it’s always been exceptional. This location was a disappointment.

Carpet was dirty worn and the room smelled musty. The staff were amazing/nice and accommodating!!

Very Clean, Great place to stay. Bed was very comfortable. AC was working great and it was 98 degrees when we stayed. Room was cool and it was perfect. Stayed there for a Train Concert at Jiffy Lube Live. Would definitely stay there again!
