Hotel California - A Town & Desert Boutique Hotel

Price was high - this was due to Coachella and I understand this is industry standard during prime times

Super friendly and accommodating staff. Great location and the little breakfast each morning was a great bonus.

My husband and I stayed for 5 nights in March. We used it as a base to explore Joshua Tree NP. It was the perfect location. Joshua Tree NP is just over an hour away and easy to access. We would hike for 4-5 hours then come back and enjoy the hotel amenities. We loved the pool and hot tub area. The staff is attentive and friendly. Mike , in particular , was a pleasure and made sure all our needs were met. The light breakfast offered daily was perfect. Locally sourced English muffins, bagels and mini muffins were delicious as well as yogurts, and assorted cereals. Coffee was good too. Added snack bonus was freshly popped popcorn and Red vines!! Our room was large, comfy bed , and quiet at night. Could not ask for more. We also had never stayed at an adults only hotel and now, we will recommend it! So peaceful and relaxing. If we come back to Palm Springs, we are staying here or at their sister property next door. Fun fact was we kept meeting people staying there who were repeat guests for many times over!!

Wonderful surprise to find this hotel. Loved the atmosphere. Clean through out. Met lovely people by the pool. Breakfast / coffee was great. Quality items. Shout out to Lynda & Terri ! The staff was very nice and the outdoor atmosphere was charming. The location was good. We were in town for a wedding and we could walk to enough things for our purposes. Parking was easy

The rooms were a little tired looking. Later in the week we stayed in another absolutely beautiful hotel for the same price. We could walk to some things but needed to drive to get to the downtown area. It was nice to have free continental breakfast but the food wasn't great. Also, there aren't a lot of rooms and they all surround the courtyard pool. There were people out there all the time and they would save their seats at the pool overnight. There was nowhere to go to get away from the group
