Hotel California - A Town & Desert Boutique Hotel

We had a great stay at Hotel California. The staff is accommodating and friendly. The hotel has a lush and inviting courtyard and a heated pool. The rooms are clean and the bed is comfortable. The breakfast nook has a variety of items for your needs. It was a bit pricey but probably comparable to the other hotels nearby. We would definitely stay here again.

Great place to stay in Palm Springs! Our room, Unit 1 was spacious and nicely decorated. The shower was a large walk in. Reading lamps on both sides of the comfortable king size bed. Our unit had a small kitchen area--bar sink, dorm size frig, microwave, coffee pot. There is a common kitchen with pots and pads and dishware for those wishing to cook. Complimentary breakfast had many choices, including good yogurts and bottled juices. The pool area was very nice and both inviting and relaxing. All the staff we dealt with was wonderful. We picked Palm Springs as a place to stay while exploring Joshua Tree, and picked Hotel California, because, why not with a name like that. Very happy that we did. This historic place was a great find! Would stay again with more time to relax by the pool.

My husband and I just got back from a 5 night stay at Hotel California. The customer service, beautiful landscaping, and great people made this a wonderful stay. It is very close to downtown Palm Springs but in a quieter area, which was nice, and there are several restaurants and a great coffee shop within walking distance of the hotel. Enjoyed our time at the pool and hot tub, and the community kitchen made for a convenient way to eat a little healthier while traveling. Definitely recommend!

Good location. Very relaxed atmosphere. Very helpful and friendly staff. Great place for a group of friends to stay. Lovely outside sitting area for coffee in the morning and drinks in the evenings, or just sitting and visiting with your friends or people you just meet.Loved watching all the hummingbirds.

The property was well maintained. The Townhome we stayed in was perfect. The Management and Staff were friendly and helpful. The rooms were more than we expected. The atmosphere on property was peaceful. It was a great value for our stay. The music from across the street was a nice background to the fountains. The amenities were greatly appreciated.

We were looking for a relaxing, quiet, reading at the pool experience and that's what we got. Small , private and cozy grounds, with no kids or pets. Although the facilities are older, they were clean. Several nice outdoor seating areas were available. We had an upstairs room next to our friends and we shared a great patio table area. Staff was amazing! They were friendly, helpful, willing to do whatever we needed to make our stay the best! From greeting us and showing us to our room and around the facility, to asking if we would like something to drink or popcorn in the evening! The kitchen room was open and available to us around the clock. Breakfast was minimal but sufficient....bagels, English muffins, cream cheese, yogurt, cereal , boiled eggs, snack bars and fruit and GOOD coffee! A BIG shout-out to Misty, who was so personable and helpful in every way, to Linda, Corbin, and the others. Always available to accommodate us. If you're looking for a fancy resort, this isnt it. If you're looking for privacy, comfort and personal care go for it!

Stayed here a week after reading the reviews on TripAdvisor and wasn’t disappointed. Great location, close to grocery store, restaurants, and downtown. We enjoy walking and things were relatively close. We wanted to escape the damp and cold of Washington state for some sunshine and Palm Springs delivered. This place is clean, with a great pool, a laid back vibe and attention to customer service that is off the charts, shout out to Misty, Corbin, Linda, and Mike. The rooms are clean and private. Ours had a TV, microwave, small fridge, and even a toaster. This place is well worth the money and we are already planning our next stay.
