"A little oasis"

A small quiet retreat with about 15 rooms just over a mile from the center of downtown. Not a luxury hotel, but perfect for what it is. Almost B&B type feel with kitchen access, private courtyard and attentive staff, but breakfast is minimal (bagels, muffins, cereal, yogurt) as noted on the website. Alternatively, Elmer's and Koffi are both great breakfast spots just a 5-7 minute walk away. Rooms/baths are not updated with new tile or countertops but still very comfortable. Complementary coffee and filtered water available all day is much appreciated!

"This could be heaven!"

Loved our short visit. The host Terry was very nice . Showed us around . Lovely courtyard with pool and nice clean room. Loved having the snacks and drinks in our room. Comfy beds and very quiet . Got a good nights sleep. Loved the coffee. Actually went to coffee place down street and bought a bag to bring home. Our lady who checked us out was giving us great info as well . Very personable. We loved Hotel California and will definitely be returning .

"Living it up at the Hotel California"

Just stayed a week at the Hotel California in Palm Springs. Great overall vibe, very relaxing with a wonderful view of the mountains a super swimming pool, bikes to borrow and breakfast too! Staff are so welcoming and attentive. An outstanding place to stay!

"Weekend getaway"

Such a charming hotel! Conveniently located near the center of Palm Springs but very quiet. We were in town for the Tour de Palm Springs and Terry made us welcome and made sure our bikes were safe. Linda and the entire staff were great. Nice offerings for breakfast. Rooms were clean and comfortable.

"Charming Older Hotel, Great Value"

This is a charming small older hotel that has been refurbished. The staff is great, personable and treat you like family. If you have special needs, they go out of their way to address them, such as getting gluten free food for the included breakfast for a family member with celiac disease. The breakfast kitchen is well stocked, and every room has free (unlike at chain hotels) snacks, water and sodas. Quiet and clean, a great value. Better than the downtown hotels where traffic and parking is a pain.
