Holiday Inn Express & Suites - Forney by IHG

We checked into a full hotel, very nice young man working the desk. Lobby and room appeared clean. Sign on one elevator said out of service. Our room had no hot water, luke warm only. We called the front desk and they were aware and said they had someone coming in the morning to repair. The following morning we left early and did not return until late. The young women working, changed us to a 4th floor room. When riding on the working elevator, between the 3rd and 4th floor, we heard a loud bang followed by the elevator violently shuddering for what felt like a long time. It stopped and then made it to the 4 th floor. We called and reported to front desk. Room appeared clean. But also had no hot water. We carried our luggage down 4 flights and spoke to the young woman working the front desk and checked out. She was very friendly and did not charge us for that night. She said to call in the morning to get a refund for the previous night. I called the next morning and the man I spoke to said we would not be charged. I asked twice- we will have no charges from this hotel and he said- you will have no charges. I was charged the entire amount for the first night we stayed without hot water. I have spoken to someone today, if I receive a partial refund I will update this review.

Not so good , elevator not working, pool was so dirty

I have both of my knee injured and did not have elevators

The property met all our expectations
