Location was perfect. Apartment very reasonably priced too, comfortable and clean, with everything provided for a comfortable stay.

Blocked sink in the bathroom (had to buy sink unblocker) and couldn't get the heater working in the bedroom.

Nice accommodation. Well decorated, clean - great location - nice home from home feel.

Allocated car parking space unclear. Speaking to someone in the UK a little challenging, although their customer service was polite enough they didn’t have any local knowledge about the parking space. Eventually spoke to someone local, after receiving a few text - messages, telling us the same messages. 3 flights of steep stairs to access the property was a bit challenging with heavy bags, so not ideal for older clientele.

Great location, nice and clean and plenty of room for two people. .

My only thoughts were that people should be advised that there were a large number of steep, narrow stairs with no lift and the property may not be suitable for some. We are late sixties and early seventies and did manage. From a health and safety perspective for guests with cases over 15kg you would have to be quite fit to carry them up the stairs and I would prefer to know about this in advance.

Plenty of light; separate bedroom; cooking and washing facilities are very good ( we did report a leak from the washing machine);

Bedside lighting - one lamp did not work and the other was very dim.

The location is perfect if you want to be in the centre of Ambleside. There are some great walks to do straight from the doorstep and all the bars, shops and restaurants are 30 second walk away. People have complained about the steps up to the property but I’m over 6 months pregnant, hiked every day and honestly the steps weren’t an issue. If you have mobility issues and don’t use steps at home then they will be an issue.

A proper table to eat breakfast or a meal would be ideal. Not everyone wants to eat out all the time and the little table and stool provided was so small and uncomfortable. Bit of noise from people drinking in the pubs so if you’re a light sleeper bring ear plugs.

Everything you need, great central location and very comfortable bed!
