Très près du centre, personnel agréable

La première nuit on a eu une chambre au premier étage fumeur, avec un bébé c'était pas chouette du tout, après on nous a changé de chambre et là c'était ok

Staff members were nice and helpful. The rooms were pretty much similar and I am glad the administrator allowed us to pick our room. Room was okay, basic. There were no chairs but a table. No AC but a fan.

We picked a room which was at the end of the hall and the smell wasn't that strong but still. It has an extremely strong smell of cigarettes in every room, it's like all furniture smells like smoke. I do not recommend staying there if you are a non-smoker and have breathing problems or allergies. The bathroom had a very dirty curtain.

I booked a room for 2 nights for convenience of location between arriving by train in Almaty 2 and taking a flight from the International airport. It is cheap and buses are running close by to the center and train stations. Shower was hot. Air con is installed but I did not use it.

The hotel is very noisy inside, I do not know if it's because the walls are paper thin or the disregard of some long term clients for the other users... probably a bit of both. So much so that at 2:30 in the morning the corridor was just a soeakeasy. There is no wardrobe to get your clothes out of your suitcase, just 4 little hooks. In my room, nb 21, the toilet seat was partly covered with a sort of sticky tape of a less than appealing tint, that makes me doubt it was easy to keep clean to good standards. I just hovered over for the duration of my stay.

Staff were friendly, close to town centre, had non-overpriced drinks for sale. Wifi and aircon were fine. Room was pretty large.

Room wasn't cleaned thoroughly. Shower was broken. Toilet seat was broken. Bed was hard and uncomfortable. Very unfurnished for a large room.

Hotel location and staff behaviour is very good

- cheap and close to the city centre - parking available

- bathroom was in a bit worse condition, but clean (however, since the price is low, I would not consider it a major problem)
