The Whitney Hotel Boston

As always, the hotel facilities are wonderful. And staff make all the difference- every stay they are consistently warm, professional and accommodating.

Just small things that really dont warrant mentioning, but you asked….. We wish they offered real Oatmeal and chicken sausage (only have pork,) for breakfast.

I travel to Boston frequently and am thrilled to have found The Whitney. Location is perfect — on Beacon Hill, steps from a footbridge across to Charles River path. Service impeccable. Rooms are lovely and beautifully appointed. Quiet, residential feel. Staff terrific! All was perfect. I will definitely be back.

My favorite hotel in Boston for overnight stays and dining. Years ago, we hosted our small wedding and later a dinner party at this magnificent hidden gem. This recent stay was to escape a blizzard and enjoy a staycation in the luxurious, clean, and well decorated rooms. Watched the snow cover Beacon Hill while sipping cappuccino and enjoying a tasty breakfast at Peregrine. Very picturesque! That night I indulged in the delicious rolls and pasta. The front desk staff is outstanding and the Peregrine staff smiles warm the coldest of days. For non-Bostonians; the location could not be more perfect as an anchor for Boston sightseeing or business - across from the MBTA (no noise), next to the Esplanade/Charles River, walkable to major historical and cultural attractions, stone throw from Public Garden and Commonwealth Mall. While other hotels were making a getaway unrealistic with inflated storm pricing, I found the Whitney rates to be reasonable and the total experience valuable. Looking forward to a next stay to include wine in the garden during warmer weather.

We had a wonderful stay. The service was excellent from the moment we arrived, and the restaurant staff were equally attentive and welcoming. Our room was perfect—an exceptionally comfortable bed and beautiful, soaring windows overlooking the courtyard, which still glowed with white lights and added to the ambiance. The location On Beacon Hill was perfect! Everything about the experience was lovely. The only small note is that the apples/snacks placed in the hallway were empty and not replenished during our stay. The front desk mentioned upon arrival that they needed restocking due to children in the hallway, so it was a minor detail in an otherwise excellent experience.
