very nice staff :) very beautiful view and nice breakfast, but dinner prices were a bit high

there was a lot of noise from the room next to ours and from music from the streets

The host, Jeyantha, is so friendly, caring and helpful. He was attentive and always looked to provide the best service. The setting of this hotel is wonderful, close to town but set back below the road so very quiet and relaxing. Breakfast was delicious, so tasty and good portions. And the view is just incredible, the perfect place to enjoy breakfast, dinner or a cup of tea.

I had booked the upstairs balcony room but my room was changed to downstairs when I arrived. However, this was still a nice room and very comfortable.

We hadden dit hotel geboekt om Adams peak te beklimmen in de nacht om de zonsopkomst te zien. Het ligt goed op de route in een heerlijk rustige omgeving. Super lekker gegeten (uit eigen moestuin) en onze host gaf ons zelfs nog avocado’s uit de tuin mee. Het bed was fijn en onze host heeft ons super geholpen, hele lieve mensen.

De douche werd wel warm maar niet super heet.

Honestly I never felt so welcome and so taken care of. This is exceptional place in many ways. The location itself is mesmerizing. The look of the lake, sunsets are very relaxing and soothing. Just what I needed. Calm and refreshing. The house is a well built solid home. People live there and you feel like part of their family. Very comfortable beds. All clean and there is a lot of air and space. Food is marvelous. You can’t have it any better seriously. They even grow organic vegetables right there and serve them to people. But the people there is what matters most. They go way beyond their normal tasks. Way beyond in their hospitality. The manager Jayantha made all my wishes come true. Ordered a tea factory tour for me even on Sunday. Booked a very comfortable car with driver. He was very polite and a took care of each detail. I will miss our evening talks.

Jayantha, the cook, waiter (he’s actually doing everything what you need to feel comfortable on your stay) was really heartwarming. He speaks really well english and could tell you everything about the organic garden they have to cook your meals. Food was really delicious and always as healthy as possible. He organized us a tuktuk for the adams peak at 2am which picked us up again after the hike. Additionally, he was really familiar with ayuverdic treatments because he worked in an ayuverdic hospital and he gave us recommendations and an ayuverdic natural tea to try to cool the body. Thanks for everything and all the tips you gave us with. 🙏🏽 Generally, any staff were really nice and heartwarming although they couldn’t speak english. mosquito net over the bed could be improved

Lieu authentique, super accueil, gentillesses des hôtes aux petits soins, si vous séjournez à Maskeliya, C'est certainement le meilleur hébergement. Les chambres offrent une magnifique vue sur le lac et Adam's Pic. Le lieu est modeste, les chambres sont simples, un peu datés, mais propre, avec moustiquaires et AC. Le rapport qualité/prix est très bon. Petit dej Ok, la restauration sur place est bonne, légumes du potager bio, seul le prix pourrait être un tout le petit peu plus bas.

Tout était Ok pour nous !
