Lake View from hotel balcony is really amazing.

It isnt like a proper hotel, it’s a private property upper floor converted into hotel rooms.

The best stay in Maskeliya. If you are visiting Maskeliya don't even think of booking any other property. The rooms have a great lake and Adam's Peak view. You can spend endless time watching the lake. The staff is humble. Food was good and homemade, however price needs adjustment. Ample space for parking.

Great views and comfortable rooms

The staff were lovely and friendly, in particular Mr Jayayantha who went out of his way to make us feel welcomed and at home. The lake view was incredible, the perfect location for a peaceful break with jaw dropping views of the mountains overlooking the lake. On a clear day you can see Adams peak. They also offered fresh seafood caught from the local lake.

The tops of the doors is a opening covered by a mesh yo prevent bugs entering however we did get the occasional insects though the main issue is the lack of sound proofing. You can hear everything, so if you are a light sleeper this may be an issue. There were hardly any plug points and the one we did have was half way up the wall and not very secure. We had to ask for a box to put our kettle on so it could rea h the plug. No teas or coffees in the room, though you can request it at a charge.

It was a really nice location with a marvelous view.We would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a peaceful, scenic retreat.

The overall experience was fantastic and pretty much everything was in order.
