GLOBALSTAY Modern Downtown Apartment

Clean property, but bed and pillow were as hard as rocks and no soap / shampoo in bathroom.

This was a fabulous location for TO! Convenient parking availability, close to the Roger’s centre, CN Tower and Ripleys Aquarium. I would recommend this property to anyone wanting to experience downtown Toronto.

Lots of space in the apartment and a very nice balcony with great views to the west (sunsets and storm watching). Nice to have fully equipped kitchen. They thought of everything in terms of equipping the kitchen not only a good selection of pots, pans and cooking tools but also the cleaning supplies. So nice to have a dishwasher and a good supply of pods. Also very nice to have a washer dryer for the long stay (we were there for 9 days). Also location is awesome…so close for concerts, baseball games (Skydome) and Theatres are only a couple blocks away. Very close grocery shopping (Rabba and Sobeys) and great restaurants nearby.

The recreation floor was going through renovations so the temporary gym space was small (and treadmills weren’t operational), and the pools area was very busy so we didn’t use it (but that’s not a fault with the apartment itself)

Nice apartment and excellent view and location very close to CN tower. Rooftop pool! Nice amenities. Reasonable parking fee $25/night. Some points to improve. Bathroom doors need fixing. Inside door lock needs to be adjusted and although the room was fairly clean, the apartment could use a fresh coat of paint and windows to be cleaned . Overall great stay. Would return.

Stay for location which was great!

The apartment needs a lot of attention, right from the moment you unlock the apartment door. The deadbolt mechanism is barely hanging on and urgently needs to be fixed. There whole apartment needs a deep clean and maintenance. None of the interior doors seemed to shut properly and several cabinet drawers also didn’t open/shut properly. The apartment windows (which are accessible by owner and therefore the responsibility of the owner) are so dirty they’re difficult to see out. The bathroom faucets are loose. The electric kettle is broken (doesn’t shut off). The cleaning felt unprofessional with piles of sheets and towels in the second bedroom closet, and random sheets in the primary closet (are these clean?), what appeared to be blood stains on the primary duvet cover, and someone’s poo left for us to flush on arrival. On the plus side, the location worked out really well for us.

Nice, clean, and fully equipped apartment. There was only one key avaliable for a 3 person reservation.

Convenient and clean

As a family of 4, 3 adults and a 17 year old, this was a good option instead of a hotel room. We paid the same for 9 nights here, which is what we’d have paid for a good 4 star hotel in July. In the best location, our balcony had a view of the CN Tower and pool. Positives: location, great air con, security guards, size of property and general kitchen amenities. Could do better: only 1 key but luckily we did everything together. But you need the key to get to the pool so that proved tricky! Beds need refreshing as we could feel the bed springs so it was painful after a week! The apartment needs some TLC - new pans and bowls and plates as they are old. The bedding is also very old… and pool towels are not provided. No late check out available, nor suitcase storage after check out which was super disappointing and crucially, no safe in the apartment! Sorry but that’s a must for us. We had a great time as the weather was fabulous and we used the kitchen as we went to Walmart and got groceries. A good alternate to a hotel, but if it had been just me and my hubby, we’d do a nice hotel instead. One final thing is there is CONSTRUCTION going on in the apartment block so expect yo be woken up at 8am with constant drilling - which feels like it’s in your room!! Not a gr8 start to the day!!!

Location - brilliant views and a walk to everything. Spacious - plenty of room, modern decor.

Very poor internet, wifi and tv No tea, no milk No tissues No bedside lamps Couldn’t find the modem, no response to a text requesting help. One towel had a big tear in it. Couldn’t find how to switch on Bed 1 fan. Power points in main bedroom didn’t work
