Hotel Indigo - Winston-Salem Downtown by IHG

Rooms were super clean. Even stayover service was superb. Housekeepers were very pleasant and knowledgeable. Front desk staff were okay but could have been better. Wasn’t very knowledgeable about the area and my status wasn’t recognized. When my family and myself passed by a couple of times, there was nobody in sight, which seemed strange. The menu just seemed a little off for a hotel of this kind. Food wasn’t very good. Better options probably would be better for business.

Day staff was very good, responsive

night staff was rude or incompetent.

The property was great , but I am not a fan of their Saturday night dance club which can be heard all the way up to the 4th floor all night until 3am .

We reserved a handicapped room. Did not get that. Offered to change it later but at this point it was only a stay for a day and a half. We were not given fresh towels nor was the coffe e maker working. The beds were very comfortable. The restaurant was very good and the staff very friendly. At the price of the room we expected better care of that. Would not recommend nor would I go back.

The floor was sticky and had spilled coffee stuck to the ground. The rug was worn. The curtain did not open because the mechanism was broken and the grout in the bathroom was filthy

We liked the LOOK of our room and the restaurant and bar area.

The floors in our room squeaked mercilessly! I felt bad for the people below us. I didn't want to move my feet. The parking situation was very taxing for us. There was no place to park ro unload so we hauled our bags from a city parking ramp a block away.

Good buffet breakfast
