Hotel Indigo - Winston-Salem Downtown by IHG

Room was clean and comfortable. Incredibly friendly staff.

Lack of free parking. You either had to pay a ridiculous amount for valet parking or park on the street.

I plan meetings for my organization and selected the Hotel Indigo for our accommodations in Winston. This beautiful hotel was a hit for our staff and meeting attendees and the service was excellent across the board, from the sales manager, Kris Barton, who managed our group block and ensured our check-in was seamless and welcoming to the exceptional valet service provided by Eric Shuler and his PMC valet team. The hotel is located downtown and the valet area can only hold about 2-3 cars while our group had about 15 cars to check-in during rush hour. He and his team took care of our group with such efficiency and they were all so warm and so helpful, I was truly impressed. Highly recommend!

Cleaners did a terrible job. They dumped coffee in the sink and didn’t rinse out. Instead of replacing the used towels on the floor, they hung them up again. They didn’t replenish the kcup coffee pods. Walls are thin. Floors are creaky. Can hear noises on street all night. I ordered room service and was assured I would receive an itemized receipt at checkout (required for reimbursement at work) but they said they couldn’t provide. I would not stay again.

The hotel was clean and has a nice bar/restaurant. It’s walkable to several other dining options and breweries. Staff were nice and check-in was easy.

This hotel is fine. I love the high ceilings and the fact that it's a converted space. But the AC didn't work well. I had it set at 68 and it could only make it down to 76 so the room was a little swampy. The staff was friendly. Our bed was made with the bottom sheet leaving a foot of mattress cover exposed at the top - weird and uncomfortable. The location was good. Parking was expensive. I'll choose another place next time.

The hotel had a modern feel to it and I really liked the cozy rooms, comfortable bed and wooden floor. The interior design was wonderful throughout the entire hotel.

The breakfast menu wasn't interesting and the food itself was fresh but nothing special. I think there is room to improve.

Our first room want that clean and the power went out on 1/2 the room so we had to change rooms at 11 at night. Oddly, the second room was much more comfortable🤔 The staff was friendly for the most part though the valley was difficult to manage. Also, there is no basket between 11pm and 6am. Make bite of that

...another business trip to Winston Salem which meant another stay at this cool hotel! I was greeted by Willie at the valet stand who was a blast to talk to. He gave me some great recommendations for area restaurants. But why go out when the food in the hotel restaurant is delicious. Get the meat omelet if you're there in the morning and say hi to Amber. Stop by the front desk and let Charley and her team take care of you as well. The room was spacious, HUGE, and the bed was super comfortable. Can't wait to stay again!
