Le Château du Faubourg B&B

Very charming renovated late 19th century mansion. The continental breakfast was very good, both in selections and quantity. Some soft, light background music would add to the ambiance, though. The manager / caretaker was a nice man. If you have issues with stairs, this place could be a problem for you. A wonderful change from a dreary hotel.

A well maintained historic house

Such a unique place with amazing rooms and decor! Great location close to restaurants/shops and easy to get to sites and attractions, but still felt quiet and private. Hope to stay here again soon!

The decor was outstanding, the breakfast was amazing and the service was excellent!

We loved how close the property was to many great shops and restaurants. It was very quiet and peaceful and beautifully decorated. The off-street parking was in a pretty tight garage - best for a small car. Unfortunately there was never enough hot water to use the large bath in the royal suite but we were able to shower fine. Overall we had a great time here and would stay again in the future

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Le Château du Faubourg. It's in a lovely area with many shops and restaurants or cafes around, and is very walkable to Old Quebec. The building is ornate and impressive, and the rooms are very comfortable and charming. Our stay was made even better with our most gracious host Phillip, who made a delicious breakfast every morning and was accommodating to special requests. Absolutely will stay here again.

Outstanding

Beautiful and comfortable. Only downside for us was the stairs climbing to the hotel door and no stairs to our top floor room. We ]were going on a lengthy cruise and several suitcases and medical equipment. No elevator 😳😱
