Hotel South Coast

We stayed one night at hotel Selfoss and enjoyed everything about it. It was clean, comfortable, staff was knowledgeable and kind, and the breakfast was amazing! There were great places to eat dinner nearby and we could see the northern lights from the parking lot. I recommend this hotel to anyone traveling to the Selfoss area!

Conveniently located for our trip and the room was spacious, quiet, and clean! The continental breakfast was a great perk as we were up early and hungry before starting our journey.

Was given a dirty duvet cover, replacement was also dirty! Rest of the room was good, towel rain great for drying wet clothes, limited breakfast options, limited parking but plenty of other plces to park.

Hotel room was nice, a lot of space, clean, the breakfast wasn’t good, and no additional amenities. Great location though.

Great small hotel. Excellent service. Quick check in/out. Walkable to food hall and town center. Would definitely stay here again.

Our 2-night stay at Hotel South Coast in Oct, 2024, was very good. It was clean, the staff was friendly, the breakfast was decent, the rate was affordable rate, and the location was perfect for letting us do a full day trip on our own, driving south on Ring Road with an ultimate destination of Víkurfjara Black Sand Beach. There are also several good restaurants and food hall within walking distance.

given the accessible room - the shower curtain bar dropped and landed hard on my head when I stepped in. Flagged out to the staff who merely installed it back without any apology or offer to change room. The room we had was also right beside the carpark - a tour bus was parked late into the night with the engine running which made it difficult for us to sleep.
