CAIt was nice to gather with family, close to nearby visitor spots, staff were very friendly and helpful, would recommend staying. Traffic is noisy from early in the morning, beds in twin room not comfortable. Was extremely loud one night when one group from another lodge was outside celebrating at 1 in the morning
It didn’t have the starter kit that was mentioned of tea/coffee. Bring paper towel/ napkins(not provided)
GBWe absolutely loved our stay at La Fortuna. We stayed in lodge 1 myself, a friend and 4 children. The lodge is so spacious and the fact you have your own private tub was the best. We had some issues with the baby cot however the owner was on the ball almost immediately and replaced it for us. Cannot fault the service, owner is lovely and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
We would have liked if the entry to the tub was facing the house rather than the other lodge but again that was just a tiny minor and didn't affect our stay and you cannot expect them to rebuild it as we know originally the tub was shared amongst the other lodges too.

GBIt was a nice enough lodge but I feel its a bit Iver priced
Didn't like that they close the hot tub @9pm when the adults could be chilling while the kids where sleeping for a wee half hr or so... Also single beds mattress was so hard the kids wouldn't sleep in them and ended up in the dbl beds with the parents..
