My husband and I didn't feel welcomed. We were statred at, and not treated the same as the other guest. The food was not great. Making the reservation was much better but still. There are better places to stay. It was clean, and spacious, my husband and i did enjoy our stay but not because of the resort. The last thing, if you get premium package obviously the staff treat you better but it's all the same food just in a nicer setup and slightly better alcohol. Go to DR just find a better place to stay especially if you are LGBTQ.

Not that they could help it, but the seaweed was tremendously horrible so bad you couldn’t even go to the beach or in the water the main reason we were going. We didn’t have hot water for the first four days we were there and the air conditioning was horrible especially at night. The food was very subpar. The entertainment was great and the people that work there were fantastic, but the gift shop was ridiculously overpriced and overall I would say if you’re expecting a five star hotel, maybe for Dominican Republic but the United States it’s 2 to 3 star. I could never recommend it to any of my friends or coworkers not worth the money. Back to Aruba we go. Lol

I went for vacation in March and really enjoyed El Beso. There are lots of options for food and outdoor areas (beach, "party pool", quieter pool, swings, etc.) Our guest experience specialist, Johanser Mazara, was very receptive and promptly actioned all of our requests. We never had any issues making dinner reservations through him, and he went above & beyond to make our stay memorable.

I didnt like anything. When i arrived my safe was not working the refrigerator was not working the toilet door did not close the patio door handle broke off the first time i tried to use it. I called the front desk 7 times in the first 3 days to get them to fix the patio door as i could not lock it. They never came in the 7 days i was there. The staff were rude and very unfriendly. The bartenders at the el beso swim up bar were the only people who made our stay bearable. They were GREAT!! I would not recommend this resort to anybody. The food was horrible. By the second day my stomache was upset and stayed that way the rest of the time i was there.

Before our trip even started, my efforts to reach someone about hotel transfers were ignored for days. I had to send FIVE different messages to the hotel and our "customer support specialist" before getting a response. Upon arrival, we waited for over thirty minutes in line to check in. We were given the name and WhatsApp number of a "personal concierge," and directed to ask him for reservations because "the app doesn't work." We immediately texted him for reservations, to which he replied that he wasn't allowed to make them day-of. We shrugged, went to the buffet (which was awful, but we figured we'd recover the rest of the trip), and made a reservation for the next night. On day 2, we still hadn't received any confirmation (because concierge's can only make confirmations day-of, but not reservations, apparently) by noon for dinner, so I reached out again. I received an autoreply that it was our concierge's day off. No reservations for night 2. On day 3, we went to the front desk. No resolution, no reservation for day 3. The food, when we finally did access it, was processed, bland, soggy, and you needed to wait in long, hot lines to get it. Gross. The rooms are so poorly designed that the humidity makes everything wet--books, electronics, the floor, the SHEETS--constantly. Beach was completely inaccessible from seaweed. The pool is 3ft deep and therefore tepid like bathwater. Best part is that people follow you around and hound you about time shares. Just stay away.

Well, the property is quite aged at this point. The disrepair is a bit obvious in some areas, considering that for a few hundred dollars more you would be in pristine conditions. The majority of the staff speaks no English and can be bit restrictive with their rules. There is no hot tub on property, as stated, also no hot tub in the spa either. I DO NOT stay in hotels that don’t have hot tubs so that was really disappointing that Expedia labeled this hotel as having a hot tub when there is a bubble tub that is cold water not hot. The bed was comfortable, shower was nice in terms of water pressure, towels, robes, all good. Nice patios, and all rooms are positioned with a patio. As far as the pools they also appear to be lacking as far as chemical maintenance. The entertainment crew were lovely people for sure, but there were just so few activities I felt like and it just wasn’t fun nobody wanted to participate in the games or dances. Some of that is the crowd though. We like active games and things to do. Also- the room service is a bit of a joke, there are like 4 options and it was eternally difficult to obtain ice for the room. They hustle you with time share crap as soon as you arrive and then throughout your stay the swindle little bits of money out of you and say things like the vip spa credits cannot be used unless you buy more. I think my 2 star rating is valid. I am not a demanding traveler and this one is definitely not one I would go back to on my dime.

Just about everything was very nice. Our room was clean and cool. Not humid at all. As everyone will tell you, buffet food is average just about everywhere, including the states. We enjoyed Pez Dama (the adult only restaurant) for dinner our first night and really liked that. The Mexican and Italian restaurants were good...not to foodie standards but we left happy. Sakura (habachi) was definitely a disappointment. Every thing was under seasoned and over cooked. Buffet had many, many choices and almost anyone can find something to their liking.
