The Last Hotel

Loved it 😊

This was a nice hotel in a good location, but none of the hotel restaurants or bars were open so that was a bummer. I also didn't enjoy the club music from somewhere nearby thumping till 6 am (Friday night). Super convneient to City Museum and dining options were plentiful.

My fiance and i checked in from Wisconsin at around 4pm we booked our stay on expedia and on arrival was told we needed a $200. We were not aware of this and there was lack of consideration from the manager i was going back and for with man about if this was the case why didn't expedia charge us for this before we drove out here. We had no choice but to pay the deposit since expedia already took our money for the room and the manager jus threw is arm in the air. Then when we get to our room. It was freezing the highest the room thermosgoes is 75. And it is a brick building i was scared to get out from under the sheets. Very unhappy cut our trip short went home.

Really loved our stay at The Last Hotel! The staff was very friendly and helpful, and our room was spectacular. We will be staying here again when we’re back in St Louis!

Checking in, I stood at the desk for 20 min. while the person at the front desk tried to log in. They closed down the majority of amenities due to a “change in management” without disclosing this on their website. The entire reason we chose to stay here for our anniversary was because of the beautiful lobby and bar, as well as the rooftop and their bar, which was all closed. We also asked for them to do something special for our anniversary for when we walked in, they said they could, and then did nothing for it. When asking for compensation for the lack of amenities, they gave us back 35$. For the lack of professionalism, amenities, as well as empathy for everything we missed out on, I will not be rebooking at The Last Hotel.

The property is walking distance to downtown St Louis. We were able to walk to the Busch Stadium and enjoy that area. The staff were asbolutely wonderful and helpful with us. The only thing I did not like was that we were not able to see the pool. It was on the rooftop and it was a dreary day and they closed it. I would have loved to see the views from there.

The staff was extremely kind!

The kids loved the rooftop pool which was heated. It’s located right next to the city museum which had ALOT of interesting things to see and tons of activities and climbing, slides, etc for the kids. Front desk staff and security were very friendly and helpful. The kitchen restaurant and rooftop bar were closed during our stay which was disappointing but there are quite a few restaurants within walking distance. There are multiple per day parking lots surrounding the hotel or the option for valet parking. There is a $200 deposit and if you make purchases from the front desk areas such as water pop or bottled smoothies you will be charged separately upon checkout.

Cute hotel. Housekeeping needs to dust. Dust on lampshades, headboard…overall nice hotel
