Tourist House Bologna - Self check-in

Excellent location, restaurants on the same and nearby streets, just next to Piazza Maggiore and other things to visit. Everything worked well, host contacted with advice on check-in well in advance. Within walking distance from the main railway station (Bologna centrale).

A lot of stairs to the room - for us it was perfectly fine but with huge luggage would have been a different story. Shower was quite poor (doors did not close, water pressure quite low) but not a big thing.

Our host, Guido, is a very nice man and we also had the pleasure of meeting his wife. The attic apartment we were in was very clean, with a small kitchen, ensuite, some skylights and several a/conditioners, one of which we used.. The washing machine is in a room nearby and is available for a few other tourist house apartments. The bed was comfortable and the shower had hot water. About 21 mins walk from central train station. Very quiet & extremely close to the main sights and all the action around Piazza Maggiore. We eere able to drop our bags about 11.30 a.m. and returned later after the cleanet finished.

The small tv has satellite channels (in Italian) & can only be viewed from the small dining area. No streaming such as netflix, prime. My husband is 6'5", so had major problems coping with the many low sloping ceilings in the bedroom, kitchen of the attic apartment we were allocated and he had trouble moving in the shower at all, although at 5' 8", for me the shower was fine. Only 2 of the apartments are attic rooms. I believe the others are bigger. Guido was very apologetic once he realised the height issue. I had mentioned it when booking, but that was months ago, so an understandable oversight. We are an older retired couple, so perhaps not as flexible as some!

Emplacement parfait, central, au milieu de toutes les visites touristiques. Parfait pour faire des pauses. La Clim est très appréciable, l’appartement est bien équipé, attention quand même aux portes de la douche, il ne faut pas être trop épais .. chiens acceptés !

Manque de finitions, le ménage était pas net
