Driftwood Beach Lodge

We really enjoyed our stay at Driftwood as the bar/restaurant staff were really friendly and the owner very kindly helped us organise day trips, which worked out brilliantly (do the sunset paddle boarding and snorkelling if you can!). The room was comfortable and clean and had everything we needed (pool towels were very handy). Being able to swim in the pool with a sea view really made it extra special (ideal when the tide was out). We found it to be a lovely place to relax and wish we'd had longer here! The location was great for us as there were plenty of other restaurants to eat at nearby (including Mama Huu next door - but the Driftwood restaurant is great too, and the cocktails were excellent!). It was also easy to stroll to the main road to get the dala-dala (local bus) to Jozani forest too. Driftwood is a more rustic style which suited us and what we were looking for. Staying at a beach front hotel in a central location with friendly staff and a relaxing atmosphere - just perfect!

We had a brilliant relaxing holiday here. Great staff and very helpful management. Lovely location on the beach and with a nice pool. In short perfect, we loved it!

Nothing. It was perfect

Really cosy and confortable place with a great bar. We had a wonderful and peaceful break and we were made to feel home away from home during our stay at Driftwood Lodge by our hosts Shona and Ismail, both so very keen to make your stay fautless and memorable.

B/fast was tasty however efforts should be focused on improving restaurant food.
