Driftwood Beach Lodge

The staff and the owners were very, very helpful. They arranged everything we wanted: taxi, trips, laundry for a very fair price. Even there are serious problems with the power and the water supplies in Jambiani, our hosts did everything for the guests to not feel this inconveniences at all. We have all the time water, power and wifi. The staff was friendly, smiling, made us to feel like home. The property is situated on the beach and has a nice swiming pool.

Food was inconsistent and not what was advertised on the menu.. Aircon was paid for but not provided. 3 sleepless nights as a result.

It was close to the Beach, and close to village and small shops and other restaurants. Owners are super welcoming and flexible. One feels like at home.

Everything. We cannot wait to return to Driftwood as everything is perfect, we have never been so relaxed in the world. I could write all day but you just need to go and chill at Driftwood 10/10 Ronan & Jo xx

Very hospitable and helpful couple running the place. They were kind enough to even arrange and send our friends glasses to town. The views are 10/10 Bang on the beach. Nice pool to dip in when thw tide is low. Housekeeping staff very good and honest.

Bathroom fittngs were broken and rusty. Food not up to the mark. They could not cater to gluten free orders. Food was not delicious either. Spring rolls and omellets had excessive oil.

A wonderful place that invites to relaxing and mingling with other people. We enjoyed the bungalow with sea view and the big restaurant and bar open to the exteriors. Good cuisine and friendly, professional service.

Really nothing to complain about.

Breakfast was good, location great, loved the relaxed easy going atmosphere, cocktails were amazing, definitely ask for the seafood bbq.

Small rock hard beds, but it seems to be the same everywhere in Tanzania

Great location, beautiful white sand. The bar staff were excellent.

The food was lacklustre. We noticed people eating out. The whole place needs a spruce up and is looking tired.
