Do not stay at this property. Was double charged and told I was a no-show. When i tried to discuss with the front desk and then manager, they were very rude and combative. Manager refused to give me her last name and said you booked 2 rooms, you were charged. FYI when i called Marriott Bonvoy, they were able to research the two bookings and confirmed i had a reservation and a 2nd reservation was keyed at the front desk when i arrived.

room was very clean and the staff was great

The lobby smelled like a spoiled mop yet the floor was dirty. There were boxes in the lobby by a table stacked high which is unsafe. The third floor laundry shoot was dirty, with a pillow holding the door open, dirty floor and things hanging out of the shoot… for two days … elevator was small, and you had to share it with cleaning staff. Other than that it was decent.

Clean comfortable quiet room with a good breakfast and close to expressway.

Very rude front desk staff, rooms were not ready when promised and no effort to improve the situation from staff! The rooms were not what we had booked and no extra accommodations were made.

Good location, friendly staff, comfortable bed, the shower water pressure was amazing!

The fire pit didn’t work, that was no complementary breakfast, the air vent in the bathroom looked like it was going to fall off and the a/c never got cold enough.

There was mold in the bathroom, shower and areas in the shower that had not been cleaned. Water leaked from the shower door. And the middle of the night the air condition began to not function properly.

Stayed here with wedding party. The hotel staff were the most amazing people I met. They went above and beyond for our entire party. I will never stay anywhere else when I visit Akron. Thank you so much!

Only positive was the front desk staff was attentive and switched my room immediately when I told her the first room didn’t have a second lock on the door. As a solo female traveler I will not stay in a room without a second lock. I checked in late and I wanted to get a glass of wine at the bistro. Horrible customer service at the bistro. The person acted bothered I was ordering late, even though they were open till 10:00 pm, and was on his phone the entire time. Also no wine glasses. Room musty and humid. Shower door didn’t close so water leaking all over the floor. Smelled like pot all over the first floor. I wish I had read the reviews before booking because I would not have stayed here. I will not be back. I expect more from Marriott.
