A real luxury experience and a rare combination of both hard product and soft product being exceptional. Check in experience went relatively smoothly. There was an error in regard to the room rate but the front desk staff sorted it out promptly and kindly allowed me early access to my room as it was ready and I had arrived a few hours before the official check in time. This was much appreciated. My friend and I really enjoyed the room especially the comfortable beds. Breakfast was good although charging for the drinks was a bit inconsistent and juices were more expensive than the prices advertised on the website at times. Other times it was per the website. We were quite uncomfortable being rammed into a tight space and small table at brunch on the Saturday morning of our stay. Marcus staff seemed to be corralling diners to one concentrated area which was not very customer-centric and one of the rare times that service was not on point during the stay. It was puzzling because there were a lot of tables available for us not to all be sitting on top of each other, but they chose to put us in close quarters. We had drinks at the bar with another friend and enjoyed them immensely. It was a great place to relax and chat. The server wasn't visible at a lot of the time so it wasn't super easy to leave on time to get to dinner, but no big deal. The Guerlain spa is lovely. My facial experience was sumptuous and massage was good also. It was a nice treat being presented with a small pastry after my massage. There aren't a lot of the conventional facilities, however the hot and cold foot plunge and reiki path were a novel experience/feature. The gentleman at the front desk was incredibly effusive upon check out, providing for ease of payment. Very few downsides and would love to have the chance to stay again.

We had a perfect time. Hotel was beautiful, staff was amazing and the spa was out of this world. Best hotel in Montreal hands down. Certainly delivers the four seasons brand!!!

The only hotel I stay at when in Montreal.

I planned and treated my mom to a special mother-daughter trip to Montreal for her 70th bday, as it had been on her bucket list for many years. Decided to treat her to the very best hotel while there, as she has never stayed in a Four Seasons, and she was quite pleased. The hotel is newly renovated and very nicely decorated. Very modern and upscale with quality FS service. The rooms were very spacious and thoughtfully designed. Loved the free standing bath tub in the bathroom which I used every night. Loud drain noises though. Enjoyed our stay but one issue happened during our stay that caused quite the fright - the fire alarm went off in the middle of the night (2am) and nearly gave us a heart attack. We weren’t sure if it was a real emergency and If we should run out of our rooms or if it was a false alarm. I called the desk like 3 times and there was no answer so we were preparing to grab our key belongings and head out when finally we reached a front desk staff member who notified us that it was a false alarm. Glad there was no fire or a real emergency, but holy moly that gave us a fright. So have to knock off one star for that because we couldn’t sleep for the rest of the night assuming it would happen again. Once my sleep is disrupted, my smile turns into a frown. Otherwise, the amenities and facilities such as the spa / pool and fitness center were top notch. The one restaurant on property, MARCUS, was also quite the hit and very popular. Great place for a vibey brunch. Definitely will come back and stay here again. Just really hoping there will be no more jarring false alarms.

Service as expected for a four seasons. Valet smooth and efficient.

We have just had 3 nights at Four seasons Montreal. The staff are welcoming and helpful, the concierge team recommended great restaurants nearby and also what to see. The room was so comfortable , super clean, great bed. Coffee and water topped up twice daily. The pool is lovely too. Really enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend this hotel.

Unfortunately, my recent stay at the Four Seasons Montreal did not meet the high standards I expected from a luxury property. The accommodations were noticeably subpar—especially disappointing given the reputation and price point of this hotel. What made the experience even more frustrating was the attitude of the management staff. They were unkind, dismissive, and generally unhelpful when I raised a concern during my stay. It's unfortunate when service falls so far below expectations, especially at a brand known for excellence. While some individual staff members were courteous and professional, the overall management approach left a lasting negative impression. I hope the hotel takes this feedback seriously and makes improvements where they are clearly needed.
