"It was a short stay thankfully."

The location was convenient, but I specifically reserved a 2 bed room but was given a 1 bed with a fold out couch. Then I was told all of the 2 bed rooms were already given away. What's point of a reservation?

I didn't like that I didn't get the room I reserved and nothing was offered to compensate me for the downgrade. There were 3 adults in the room and one of us had to sleep on a fold out couch.

"Poorly Maintened Room"

I was very disappointed with my room at the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel in Amherst. According to Hilton's website, the DoubleTree brand is intended to offer sophisticated hotels for a premium experience. Instead, I was given a room that had not been cleaned properly and had not been well maintained for quite some time. As shown in the attached pictures, we found the towels and the bathroom floor to be dirty. Also, the shower contained mold, cracked tiles and missing tiles. The sleeping area also contained evidence of wear and tear that has not been addressed properly. Based on this experience, I will not stay in a Hilton Hotel again.
