Staff, location, having a smoking room - thank you!staff :) I was late checking out -- checkout is 11am, I was slow getting organized -- they waived charge for additional day because I checked out at 22:58 am! VERY generous of them

TV on the Fritz ( but they fixed it both times),; door fastener finicky but door locked just fine. Room needs a little paint but nothing serious needed.

Recent renovation from fire. Fresh paint over bad repairs. Lumpy paint, globs of white putty in marble tub surround where rod was replaced. Mattress extremely aged, lumpy, and uncomfortable. 12 inch toilet height. Hot water almost non-existent. Cannot rate breakfast.

The floor was nasty and beds were not comfortable.

The room had stains on the ceiling and sheets and pillow cases. You could see where someone had tried to pry the door open. They tried to charge my card three times for the room while I was staying there.

They had breakfast

The room wasn’t clean and the management didn’t take care of my issue

Nothing only stayed because all other hotels in 100 miles were full due to hurricane!

Staff not friendly, can’t speak English, we’re arguing with a guest in front office, the place is run down and disgusting! My son is in a wheelchair and there’s no accessible parking or way to get onto sidewalk! I opened the door to our room and about threw up from the overwhelming stench .. smelled as if something had died and left to rot! The carpeting was worn and filthy! I cannot possibly describe the sinking feeling after I made multiple calls trying to find a diffeeent hotel and none was available.. so we had to stay! I went to nearby Hobby Lobby for something to try to help with the sickening odor. There were roach bugs and just a general feeling of uncleanness .. it hurt to breathe! The place is loud you can hear everyone outside, traffic, the walls had chunks missing, and it repaired, there was a filthy roach feces covered lamp but no plug in other than across the room at the sink! Just NO stay as far away from this health hazard as possible ! I can’t believe it hasn’t been closed down! We had paid online for 2 nights but we couldn’t bear to stay again so we left! I felt it was near child abuse to make my family stay there another night! Someone needs to bulldoze this place or redo it and get owners who care about the place and its customers!

Rooms were clean and the only issue was something they couldn’t help. Hurricane knocked out internet and tv. Can’t fault hotel at all. Only thing not good breakfast at 6am there were Duke Energy people and myself banging on the door they were supposed to serve breakfast the man inside was asleep. Not good. Had to leave without disappointing

It was just a friendly environment.Cleanbroom and building and I would love to stay again.
