Hampton Inn College Station-Near Texas A&M University

This Hampton Inn is not up to par. Definitely needs a complete makeover. Maintenance and cleanliness issues. The staff is really nice, but this is the worst Hampton. I’ve stayed at in terms of the property condition.

The bedding was very clean which surprised me because the entire hotel in need of a makeover.

The mattress way past usefulness, its creek and I can feel the spring hitting my body ever time I move in bed.

The hotel facilities look very bad, noticeable lack of maintenance all over, Trash all over the main entrance; not worth the price you pay. Will never stay here again.

This particular property has been under renovation for quite awhile. While only cleaning every other is fine, we didn’t get fresh towels or cleaning the entire 4 days we were there. We had to call the front desk fresh towels. The rooms are small. All the furniture is old, but the office chair in the room is peeling and flaking.

Dirty .. bad horrible breakfast .. very dirty hall floors and lobby .. construction going on thu out hotel .. Hotel is catering to an oil field crew ( maybe 20 )constantly that comes in on 12 hr shifts .. with muddy boots .. dirty coveralls.. Definitely NOT your typical Hampton Inn

I was super disappointed with this property! To be clear this Hampton Inn by Hilton property needs to close and renovate ASAP! From the hallways to the rooms ( I had 2), everything’s dilapidated. First, I paid for my rooms well in advance and my room had a mildew smell. Since, I had driven 14 hours I was too tired to change and they had none available anyways. I found it the next morning why the mildew smell. When I ran a shower and the tub overflowed because the drain mechanism was broken and I didn’t know. The over flow had already occurred before. They only had the one connecting rooms so we stayed since it was a 2 night stay. The walls had holes and so did the linen. On the bright side, the breakfast was decent.

The front lobby staff were very helpful. My husband and I had moved our girls into their new townhome all day. Upon arrival, the parking lot was mostly full which was problematic because we had a trailer. The supervisor was very helpful in finding a solution. Would definitely stay here again!

Filthy, bed was a sink hole, hand rail came off wall when trying to exit shower, sink faucet pulled up like it was coming off. Charged the wrong credit card, & did not provide the ADA room that they said they had. 2 seniors with a tub, & the handrail coming off was almost a different ending versus just asking for a refund. Requested a total refund!
