Overpriced… we were not in a nice room, but it was all they had available. We were charged almost $480. We should have waited to drive into town because our VRBO was not yet available. We could have had much better accommodations an hours drive out. I’m sure it was due to a busy week in CS that drove the price, but our VRBO was so reasonable and our room at this hotel was rough.

The property needs upgraded badly. There were roaches in my bathroom HUGE roaches. Then to top it off, there was eaten pork rib bones on the floor in the elevator. The elevator was probably one of the dirtiest elevators I've ever been in (not including the rib bones). I'm an Honors Member and have never stayed in a Hampton Inn in this condition.

Ups: Good location to go to A&M north side of the campus. Gym has good and new equipment. Downs: Rooms are outdated, old/broken furniture, and I had problems with the WiFi.

Our room was clean and the beds were comfortable. However, as soon as we opened the door we were hit with the worst smell of musty mildew and humidity. If we were staying longer I would have requested a different room. We never could get the air conditioning to blow cold enough to dry the air. Also, there was mildew on the wall and carpet under and behind the bed. I reported it to the gentleman working the front desk when we checked out.
