Costa Sur All Inclusive Resort

The suite that I stayed in had 1.5 bathrooms, kitchen, dining area, living room area, and a balcony with a view of the ocean.

The room was exceptional and staff were friendly and helpful. We loved the atmosphere and we met some new friends.

The food was at best average. The service was excellent.

Had a fabulous week discovering the puerto Vallarta area. Netto, our new friend in the restaurant, had so much great information to share with us and so many good recommendations. Additionally his service was excellent! He really helped to make our first visit to PVR and costa Sur special. Muchas gracias !

This resort is old and dated. The AC worked but sounded like it was about to shut down at any moment and smelled of mildew. The restaurant is mediocre and it took over an hour to get breakfast every day. It’s definitely the budget resort in the area.

The resort has a friendly atmosphere. Jose & Henry provided activities daily. Even though the room was dated, it was clean & comfortable. The shower was all hot or cold, very difficult to regulate (room 315). The restaurant staff exceeded our expectations by providing a menu meeting our specific dietary needs. The capitains Moricio and Moses took charge of providing our special requests for our diet. The wait staff, Ivette, Erik, Jesus, Juan Jose, Francis and Kevin took charge of our orders and greeted us with our special Menus. Zareth was our hostess. The bar tenders Fabricio, David, Ramon, and Emilio provided a nice variety of drinks daily. Overall everyone mentioned and those we may have missed provided excellent customer service. The beach area was rocky and small. Paddle boards and kayaks were available for use at no charge.

Wonderful. Staff is so wonderful that is went back. First trip was February and second was May of this year.

We were relaxed from the moment we checked in. There is a concierge to suggest outings or spots to visit. There is a small convenience store in the lobby. The spa massages were top notch! Anytime we wanted to go out, taxi's were on hand and the lot attendants have a card with prices to expect for each zone. The restaurant has a solid menu, daily specials and the kitchen was accommodating and creative to deal with my gluten-free diet. Costa Sur has it's own beach and amazing lagoon. All the rooms have ocean view balconies and the grounds are kept clean and beautiful. We had planned to split our vacation between Costa Sur and a place in town but we had been so spoiled that we canceled our town hotel after a night and returned to Costa Sur, lesson learned.

Room service was great! Every person we came in contact with had a smile and greeted us. Food was 2nd to none. Waiters (Netto, Rafeal, Kevin & Raul) and Waitresses (Both Gabriella’s and Ivett) were all super great. The bartender The Great Fabricio was naturally great! Topped by their leader Senior Moises who makes you feel right at home! The activities director Jose and his under study Enrique (Henry) do their best each and every time you see them. They take the time to call out your name and even more of their time to talk to you. The Porter Sr Bennett always has a smile and welcomes you home. Front desk resolves any problems pronto! Whoever I missed sorry we were only hear a week. Next year we will stay two (2) weeks and do “major”. Until then Hasta Luego Amigos!
