Costa Sur All Inclusive Resort

Well her goes. There are so many things that need correction and will be corrected at this Home away from Home. My wife and I have been going to this place for 33 years. It's dated and things do wear out(like me) and gradually these things are corrected(not Me). If you're looking for a 5 star resort and 5 star prices then look somewhere else. I doubt your would use half of those amenities. But if you want a clean place that's comfortable and the service is stupendous. Look no more. I must tell you I love this place. I especially love the staff there. The waiters and employees there are there for you. The wait staff are more like family infact they make you feel like family. So if you want Hilton or Hyatt amenities(and prices) go there! This place has everything I need. Yes things do wear out and occationally I too complain. Hey if you want to make yourself miserable and have things to compain about. You found the place. These are minor things and do not bother me the slightest. The wait staff, front desk people, maids, secutity staff(especially Juan) keep me comimg back HOME. I love this place from the ownwer(Ken) on down to the athletic director( Jose). All booked for next year! Every year there are definte improvements. Can't wait to go back to my second home and my extended family. Maybe I'll find something to newcomplain about. That comes from my mother's side of the family.

I absolutely loved this resort, the customer service, the privacy, and the views. It is also so close to downtown if you like to go in and out for great restaurants and drinks without having to sleep in the noisy, busy downtown area. My family and I have been going every year for the last 20 yearrs and it has become like a second home.

The resort staff went above and beyond in response to the Drug Cartel attack in Puerto Vallarta. In a very difficult situation they were more than kind. They did their very best to provide accommodations to all guests during the lock down. I can’t thank them enough!!! They all deserve raises! I’ll come back next year.

I have been staying at Costa Sur for last 20 years. The view from balcony is unbeatable. The staff understands the limitations of services and I do see a few improvements each year.

The staff at this resort are unbelievable! Five stars all the way. Following the unfortunate events of February 21-22, we were made to feel safe and comfortable. The staff went out of their way to make sure we were treated with the utmost kindness in a difficult situation. Hats off to Laurie and her wonderful team. We highly recommend Costa Sur for your vacation in Puerto Vallarta.

My husband, sister and I stayed at Costa Sur Resort during the upheaval experienced February 22, 2026. I cannot express how safe we felt and well taken care of. The staff that was able to get to work pitched in on every level, maintaining a calm and friendly environment. Their attitude reflected the true Mexican spirit. Costa Sur staff handled all situations with pleasant smiles, never ending energy and cooperation. The motto here is Welcome home and it was very evident, even in a less than ideal time. I highly recommend the Costa Sur Resort!

Nice fun pool with activities & location was what we wanted. Large room has a full ocean view but was dated. Impossible to reach a human before we arrived

We are always greeted warmly and Juan's welcome home! The staff is amazing and the view never fails. The property is a bit dated, but we love it as it is.

First the good: The views are amazing and all the rooms have a wonderful view of the ocean, and the staff was very friendly. Now the challenges: The rooms are not in good condition - the pictures on the website must be from when it was built because it is really run done. Rooms are advertised with fridge, microwave, etc. The really is that if something breaks, they just don't replace it, so some rooms have everything, but most don't. We went with several couples and everyone had issues of some kind with the rooms - showers won't drain, A/C didn't work, mold on the ceilings, holes in the curtains, etc.. We got the "all inclusive" package - but not much is included - it is a very limited menu and if you want wine - it's extra. Be prepared to wait for you order - about 45min to an hour on average - and when you get it, it will most likely be wrong. I would be tolerant if this was a discount hotel - but it is not cheap. We have stayed at far nicer hotels with much better amenities for far less than what we paid.

This is a really hotel, with a beautiful view from every room. But what really makes this place unique is their staff. Great people, always ready to help and accommodate any special request that may come their way. We’re a vegan couple and all the servers were familiar with the concept. We ate well and e ate a lot. Thank you Bryan, Captain Moises, Guillermo, Raul, Alejandro, Henry, Jose, Neto, Gabriella, Ana Maria, Fabrício and everyone else for this great stay!
