Ok stay for the money

Not worth the money spent! The overall appearance of the motel does translate to the amount spent for one night. The elevator made all kinds of clunking sounds when I used it. The main part of the room was clean, but the bathroom had mold growing around the door jam. Breakfast, if that is what it was supposed to be, consisted of coffee, juicy, and prepackaged muffins. Normally I would not write such a review if I spent less than a $100 for this type of property. However, because I spent $170 I believe Hotels. com needs to know the condition of this property.

I recently stayed at the Days Inn in Delaware for a two-night visit, arriving late at night to what I thought would be a nice budget hotel based on the online reviews and pictures. The moment I opened the door to room 347, I was hit with an overwhelming stench of mildew. The smell was so strong it was hard to ignore, and it lingered throughout the entire stay. The only part of the room that seemed remotely clean were the beds, which is hardly comforting given the overall condition of the space. The bathroom was the worst of all: mold lined the walls and ceiling, and it was clear there had been a poorly patched ceiling leak in the corner of the main room. When I turned on the bathroom sink, the water emitted a foul, stale odor as if it hadn’t been run in weeks, it took over 30 minutes of running the water before the smell began to fade. The shower stall was visibly patched and in poor condition, with mildew and grime along the edges. Dust and dirt lined the floors, suggesting the room had not been cleaned thoroughly between guests. The property itself had a constant odor of mildew and sewage, and the ice machines were broken. This hotel is severely run down and in desperate need of a full renovation. The photos online do not represent the current state of this property — do not be fooled. The front desk staff were kind and courteous, and the towels provided were clean. But sadly, that’s where the positives end. For $110 per night, this was a complete waste.

Will not stay here again. Picture on internet deceiving. Assigned room had not been cleaned. Vaccum cleaner box was left in room. Bed not made . Had to get another room. Decor not updated. Staff not good at giving directions . A map or floor plan to show room location would have been helpful at check-in. Will not choose this property again.

Bad smell, stains sheets, stained curtains, found another guest’s underwear and socks tucked in under the sheets.

Unfortunately this was a negative experience. I realize this was by no means a "nice" place to stay but I still believe in certain baselines. The room was dirty there was trash on left out, hair on the floor etc. The beds were made with clean sheets but that was all. TV didnt work either. Lastly, I picked this place because it advertised breakfast included. The only things they had were little packaged 2 bite muffins(likely from costco or similar. I think the room should be properly cleaned upon arrival and the listed amenities should be in place or its false advertising.

We tried to cancel the reservation once we walked into the room and saw that the room was not cleaned, bugs all over the place and garbage still in the bins. The hotel said they couldn't cancel the reservation, so we paid for a room we did not even stay in. We had to leave immediately. Is there a way were we can get a refund from Hotels.com

Rugs burnt, room itself smelled like stale cigarettes, vents filthy, there was a PLASTIC BAG over the smoke detector, chair was stained, Cigarette butts literally outside of my door and in the grass

Our room was dirty. Extremely slow sink. Our bathroom tub had a wad of hair which i took a tissue cleaned out. The room was dusty, couch had awful stains. Carpet was not vacuumed and lamp tables were dusty. Whoever is doing your housekeeping there is definitely cutting corners. Would not stsy there again. It was really nasty. One positive thing was the air conditioner worked great.
