Hampton Inn Cartersville

Location was good. Staff was nice.

The beds were terrible. They were so wore out. We could not hardly sleep. Woke up with cracks in our neck light laying on springs.

We’ve stayed there for 3 years in a row now. Twice a year traveling from Rhode Island to Florida and back. It’s around an 8 hour drive from Florida so it’s a good time to stop. It’s located right near the highway in a quiet area so we get a good rest for the next day of driving.

We arrived late, but check in was very efficient. Room was very clean and comfortable. Staff was welcoming and all were friendly.

The hotel was just okay. The carpet is putdated in the rooms and throughout the hotel. The bed was uncomfortable and some of the towels were stained. Also, the hotel is pet friendly. If you have an issue with barking, or pets in general, request a room that is not on the same floor.

My top spread was dirty, I woke up with bite marks on my left arm, wallpaper was peeling and it had holes, there was food on the floor and I was stuck on the elevator. The room smelled funny.

Secluded and quiet. The clerk at front desk was extremely courteous and polite. Breakfast was usual hotel breakfast items. Conveniently located off interstate.

Tried calling the hotel with their local # and never got an answer. After trying 10 times for 3 hours. We were at a sporting event and even with my room paid I still wanted to make sure nothing happened before I got there I could not get through to customer service 800# or booking.com. Very frustrating. The bed would have been comfortable but both sides had springs poking our back. The sink in bathroom was broken but had putty stuff to hold together. Carpet needs to go and install wood laminate flooring.

For the price of over $200 a night. It should be clean without stains on the chair and lamp shade. Bed is not comfortable either

Hotel was a MAJOR disappointment! I was moving from FL to the Midwest with the help of a friend, and needed a place to collapse overnight before resuming the drive. My former employer's preferred hotels are Hampton Inn, so I thought it would be an above-average place to stay. I verified their pet policy ($50 extra for one cat overnight is an outrage), paid with my AAA credit card and was quoted a complete price; however, I did not ever receive either a text or an email confirming such. There was no remote for the tv, had to call for one, took 'way too long to get there. The self-serve complementary beverages were not fresh and hot (both the water for the tea and the coffee) The towels were thin and harsh. and skimpy. They had rented to room next to us to a bunch of kids. The breakfast bar had no grits (the crockpot had never had them in it), and the steamer for biscuits had left them soggy, then when my credit card bill from AAA arrived, I had charged $33 more than I was quoted. Just be aware that this place is not like what I had expected...
