Hotel is on top of a hill hidden from road and road entrance is off a one way road

Check-in was easy, staff was friendly. Beds were comfortable, great shower water pressure. However, the hotel needs an overall good cleaning because hair is everywhere and chairs and carpet need replaced because everything seems heavily stained. We stayed for two nights, in two rooms as a family of 5, for kids’ sports at nearby athletic facility. I had read reviews and was disappointed with the reality, but unable to cancel due to Expedia’s policy. I imagine this hotel was wonderful a decade ago and it’s sad to see it so dirty. Please note, Expedia’s site is not allowing me to leave a one star review for cleanliness.

The staff was friendly and helpful. However we asked for our sheets to be changed after the 3rd night and they were not. We did not have a DND on the door that day of our stay and made the request to the front desk and a housekeeper in the hallway. they replaced towels and took trash but did not change the sheets as requested. Due a renovation to start in November, it needs it - furniture that is fabric covered is pretty gross and needs deep cleaned or removed, laminate peeling off casegoods. they do a pretty good breakfast that is included and the pool was nice but some of the pool furniture is broken, check your chair before you sit down. Suited the purpose of our trip, bed was comfortable, convenient to Canton and Cartersville.

Absolutely avoid this hotel at all costs! Disgusting! Unfortunately my husband's company put him here so we had to stick it out. Definitely not worth the money! Filthy carpet everywhere, including the room. Hallway walls are damaged from housekeeping carts. Room 215 had so much moisture in the air that there was visible mildew/mold on the desk chair. Clothes I hung in the closet were damp when I went to put them on. Obviously there is an issue with the AC unit. One of the carpet squares by the couch is out of place. Whatever the flooring is in the bathroom is poorly installed. It feels loose when you walk on it and looks wavy. Wood surfaces were sticky, probably due to the excessive moisture in the room. One of the lamps is missing a light bulb. Also, the cabinet containing the mini fridge is crumbling at the bottom. Blows my mind that housekeepers aren't reporting these things. Also, don't wear white socks in the room, they will turn black. And if you go barefoot you will see the black will wash off in the shower. This is the absolute worst hotel I have ever stayed in. If you have to stay there make sure they don't put you in 215!

Entire hotel is dirty. Room stunk, shower curtain was soured, floor was not clean. Breakfast area also dirty. Looking down from the 2nd floor into the breakfast area was very dirty. Air vents not cleaned anywhere in the building. very nasty. Definitely, not worth the money. Overall, a very poor experience.

Here is my voice. Who ever did repairs on room 120 at your hotel needs to get a little better. Now they may have just happened yesterday and you have fixtures on the way and drywall repairs will happen at the same time, but if these are your permanent repairs, then you need to really look at what you are paying for. The night stand need to be replaced and the bathroom wall needs to have repairs located to the right hand side of the toiler. It kinda makes your hotel look like it is going to be a no tell motel 4 hour nap in the future. I am a former real estate developer and if your models or if this is the best you can present, then being honest, i think the room was worth less. But, i am picky and i build retail stores for a living where no one else would see what i see. Christopher Smith….

It’s incredibly disappointing that this hotel has been allowed to retain its Hampton Inn brand by Hilton. By far one of the dirtiest hotels I’ve ever stayed at - hallway carpets are disgsuting and a vacuum was never used the entire 6 days we were there. The carpet is literally pulling away from the floor. The furniture in the room was terribly stained. So much so we couldn’t sit on it. The breakfast area was so dirty we couldn’t even bring ourselves to eat there - floors not swept or washed, sticky tables, garbages not changed, insects crawling around. Our 6 day stay never included our room being serviced. Two days of our stay they knocked on the door at 8:15am asking if they could have our towels. One day that I gave them the used towels they said they would be back with new ones. We got back to our room, no towels. I went to the front desk to ask for them and they were all out. She apologized and said “everyone came down before you so I don’t have any left”. I asked to get the towels out of a vacant room and she said she can’t do that even though they weren’t even close to sold out and this was 9pm. Unreal. No guest laundry room on site. No market or pantry with snack for purchase. Our TV didn’t have a remote. On Day 2 they finally got us a remote. But then it didn’t power the TV on so we asked for them to fix it, figuring the remote probably had to be paired with the TV. Got back to the room with a card from maintenance saying they worked on the TV. It still didn’t work and no one ever came to fix it again despite us asking every day. This hotel is on par with a Days Inn or Super 8. Clearly the owners of this hotel are enjoying their $200/night rates and not spending anything to keep this place in decent shape. Such an insult to the Hilton brand.

Dirty carpet in the hallway and carpet is coming up. Tv only worked sporadically.

Check-in process was easy. Lobby and entrance were decently clean. Elevator smelled like cigarette smoke. Brochures hi-lighting local attractions were from 2024, and it’s now June 2025. Room smelled like a wet dog till we turned the AC on. Almost asked for a room change but wife and kids were already unpacked. Probably should have booked at the Holiday Inn Express next door
