DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Oak Ridge - Knoxville

Had a great time. Pool is really nice. Could not care less about a hotel's "eco-friendliness" in the review.

Spacious room cleanliness and comfortable beds and pillows

No free breakfast

The bed and room were clean and comfortable.

The facilities were marginally updated from the 1980s so that it had a very tired feel. In addition, I almost had to pay for breakfast even though my reservation said breakfast was included. The front desk told me that it was not, saying that "breakfast included" only means that it is available. I had to show the front desk my reservation for them to allow me the free breakfast which they honored but made it seem like it was a favor for me.

You will love it or hate it! All rooms are used for pets. Every floor, every room! I think someone left a cat in one of the bathrooms! There is carpet in at least part of the rooms and in the hallways. Other than that, pretty good except the restaurant kinda hit or miss.

Very nice room, very pleasant check in, including a warm fresh baked cookie.

The location was easy to find. It had plenty of parking. The hotel was very nice. It was very comfortable and the room had enough room or visiting family to hangout. Close to many food options. Plenty of shopping, parks, and entertainment near by. The hotel was very quiet. The room was set up so that you had sleeping areas, office desk, and a relaxing corning. It was overall a very nice place to stay. I would definitely recommend it to others, and when the time comes i would definitely stay there again. Thank you!

Amber at the front desk was able to assist with a needed battery for my computer accessory, enabling me to save a large data package that was part of a major presentation needed that afternoon! Without time to access or use transportation, I was in a desperate situation! Many thanks to Amber!!!!!

Maria the bartender is the hidden gem of all Tennesse. A Swedish angel in the heart of the homeland of mountain music and mountain life. I travel constantly for work and if my project is within one hour of this location, I stay here. Her eyes are the the sun coming out of a cold gray sky. The hotel is really nice too. Couldn't really ask for much more. They have live music in the lobby on the weekends. The food is up to par, and like the rooms themselves, all this comes at a fair price.
