Was a very nice stay. Nice pool

We liked everything but the A/C unit wouldn’t cool the room. My wife and myself sweated in bed all night. Other than that it was fine

This used to be the premier hotel in town. I haven’t visited in 17 years and I see they refurbished the rooms only about 3/4 of the way. They kept the old doors, frames, furniture. I think it looks rather odd/trashy. Not what the usual Doubletree would be. Staff was still super, very welcoming, very clean. It’s nice to have a restaurant on-site.

The property could use some updating.

My wife and i got sick b4 our trip to see my Mom. We did not go see a doctor because it was just a bad flu and we didn't want to spread it to my 92 year old mom so we could not go. The trip insurance that i purchased did absolutely no good as it needed proof from a doctor. I truly messed up in booking a non refundable room which is not your fault but life does happen..

I’m an easygoing traveler. I tend to overlook minor issues with hotel rooms, but this wasn’t something I could ignore. Upon checking into my room, I noticed black mold on the edge of the AC unit and on the ceiling near the window. I contacted the front desk, and they sent someone up to inspect it. She acknowledged the mold, explained that maintenance and cleaning staff had already left for the day (around 4:30 pm), and promised maintenance would address it the following morning. She also mentioned that most rooms had black mold, which I found both alarming and unacceptable. I called the front desk again, and they offered a reduced rate since all other rooms were booked. I requested a refund and decided to move to a different hotel. If black mold is present in most of the hotel rooms, travelers should know before booking. To the staff, I appreciate your efforts under the circumstances. Management, it appears that your cleaning staff is aware that this is a widespread issue, yet it hasn't been addressed. Allowing guests to check in and discover black mold in their room is unacceptable.

Comfortable and clean. Enjoyed my stay.
