Rooms were spacious and clean

Bathrooms and corridors were not upgraded. Very old style for the price

As soon as we walked in we were taken care of by Alexx. He is an absolute gem! The resort itself is gorgeous, and all of the staff are very accommodating and friendly. Our whole family all agree Alexx was wonderful. Thank you! We hopped around during our visit and stayed at 2 other hotels previous to this resort, and we definitely saved the best for last!

room was fine. the toilet after use would run and take a long time to stop.

We sat down for breakfast and there were to many people and not enough staff. secondly i sat in an upholstered chair that had bad stains. didn't like that. We finally left didn't have breakfast as the server was busy serving others.

Well I will start with the Good. Hotel is in an amazing location and within walking distance of pretty much everything you want to see or do in Santa Barbara. I was in one of the recently remodeled rooms and it was very comfortable, and I loved the fire pit on my patio. The staff was very kind and helpful throughout the property. The cons for me were ongoing remodeling in the building I was in and definitely wouldn't have been able to nap in the afternoon if I had wanted to due to noise sanding, etc in room next to mine. The door to the room had a lot of gaps attaching photo. The Resort fee charged is a lot for the limited amenities in my opinion. There was never a yoga class as advertised. I was initially told it was on the weekends only, but the Saturday I was there it was cancelled as well.

Alexx checked us in & was a tremendous help. He went above and beyond what most desk clerks do. We’ll look for him if we are able to come back.

I had a great stay at the Hilton Santabarbara Beach Front Resort. The location was very convenient, and the amenities were nice and well-maintained, which made our stay comfortable and enjoyable. The staff overall was friendly and helpful, but I want to give a special top review to Alexx at the front desk during check-in. Alexx was extremely welcoming, answered all of our questions clearly, and made us feel comfortable and confident about our stay right from the start. That positive first impression really set the tone for the entire visit. I would definitely recommend this Hilton and would happily stay here again.

I rarely write reviews- only if I have an exceptionally good or terrifically bad experience. Unfortunately, this was this was the latter. We checked in on Friday afternoon, around 7pm. I asked the front desk guy to make sure our pull out bed was assembled, since our son had an early game in the morning. We had dinner in the lobby restaurant (good) and got to our room around 9:45pm. Brown stains all over the carpet (room 470, 1 bedroom king suite with ocean view). Bed was not assembled. I called down to the front desk and repeated that I had asked for the bed to be set up- over 2 hours ago, and way past check in time - and a different guy told me the best he could do with my request was “radio it in”. In his defense, it wasn’t his fault that the first man had obviously forgotten. About ten minutes later, a bell hop came to our room, chucked some sheets and pillows at us- and left. Next day, our room was never cleaned. We called down around 4, and asked for service. Someone came about an hour later, but we were getting ready for dinner. As we walked through the hallways, there were large, alarming stains throughout the second floor in the Bougainvillea building.
