Very kind and sweet ! Very beautiful and clean room will come back again

Let me start with the highlights: The beds were comfortable and clean. The restaurant was excellent and great service. While I didn't go to the actual spa, there is nothing spa-like in the rooms, if you were expecting that from the name. The amenities are very basic. Also, in our case, running the cold water in the bathroom sink made a noise from the wall that sounded like a float plane taking off! Normally I wouldn't write a review, but I admit to being very frustrated to the pool being unusable as we were there with a group of boys and that was going to be a big activity. As well, the gym is in need of a complete makeover. The fact that the elevator was not functioning properly the weekend we were there, only highlighted the need for growth and repair! But as I said - the rooms were clean.

Bad customer service. Birthday celebration. We had reservations for 5:30 in a town a short drive away. Called during the week to see if we could get an early check in. Was told to call the day of, but still couldn't confirm an early check in. Arrived at 3:30.. room not ready and even with at checking time at 4:00.. room still not ready. One person behind the desk with 10 people waiting.. decided to cancel completely because I needed to change clothes and get ready for dinner. Stopped at my sisters house to get changed. Very good experience. Clean, great shower, comfortable bed, quiet room.

The room was spacious, with a pull out couch. The staff was super friendly. Staff greeted the athletes with bells abs whistles, lol. Definitely was not expecting that.

We LOVED the new updated room, restaurant and spa! We will absolutely be back again!

Beautiful rooms nice comfortable beds

Our experience at Woodcliffe on Valentine's day did not go as expected. We arrived at 4:15 (for a 4PM check in time) only to be told our room was not quite ready and it would be a few minutes. After about 20-30 minutes, we inquired about our room to be told that housekeeping did not have it ready yet and that because we bought the package they needed time to put the amenities in our room (sparkling wine/chocolates). We were sent back to the lobby to wait. After another 15 minutes and almost 45 minutes later we were told our room was ready. We didn't get into our room until after 5PM. When we opened the door, there was no sparkling wine/chocolates waiting for us. We had to go back down to the front desk and inquire because we were told that part of the reason we had to wait was for the wine/chocolates. The front desk supervisor did as the restaurant to send those items up. After waiting another 20 minutes in our room and still no wine/chocolates, we went back to the lobby to inquire about our "amenities". They finally arrived in our room around 6 PM and we had a 7 PM dinner reservations so we did not get to enjoy the wine/chocolates - which by the way were not good. The sparkling wine was not up to par with previous years and we really missed the chocolate covered strawberries - the cookies just didn't do it - not for a $600 night. Our entire experience was ruined because of the check in issues. When we got to the restaurant for our reservation, we again had to wait because the staff could not find tablecloths so they could not buss the tables timely. The dinner, I will say, was excellent and our breakfast the next morning was also very good. Our waitress, Dominika, was the saving grace. She was very good and very attentive. The front desk supervisor did credit us some money back on the room when we checked out, which we appreciated, but it wasn't about the money, it was about our valentines day experience being ruined because your hotel is very unorganized and not prepared for the guests when they arrive. Your hotel has the latest check in times of all hotels we stay at - most hotels allow check in at 2 or 3PM. 4PM is very late so your housekeeping staff should have no excuse for not having the rooms ready - especially one that had been booked since January.

The room was very small, I paid $311.00 & it was very tiny compared to other hotels , I did not have a microwave to reheat my food, the closet space & the fridge were a inch away from each other.
