parking was a problem had to pay them move the car. The rooms are on a very noisy road

Really good breakfast, wonderful and hot, nice thick toast and loved having a tea pot for a good cup of tea.

Have stayed here before and it did not disappoint. Great place to base for a mini-break in Norfolk. Brilliant food in th evenings, busy, great atmosphere. Very attentive staff, very eager to provide great service

Very nice people running the place and parking was no problem but I can see it maybe if you arrived later when dinner was being served it could be . Breakfast was pretty good in as much as there was a lot of it , only complaint is the sausage’s were only browned on the top the underside were not browned at all. Had dinner in the restaurant one night and found it to be very good food and very good service.

Room defects: 1/ room number (2) frame is broken at top leaving edges exposed 2/ there is no door handle on outside of door not even a door knob to pull the door closed. 3/ the window blind in the room is wonky when lowered and the plywood lining to the top of the window recess is coming away and the curtain pole is either bent or falling down giving the room a neglected feel. The headboard was quite worn where many heads had rested against it over time leaving distinct marks on it. 4/ in the bathroom the shower enclosure has black mould growing on the mastic seals around the base of the glass screen and a build up of lime scale that is in need of cleaning away. The shower head is loose and will not stay (for long) in the right position for very long before drooping back down. There is nowhere to put things down above the basin and the basin plug appears to be defective ? However the road noise from outside does drop off later in the evening and leaves the place very quiet allowing a peaceful nights sleep. The bed was comfortable. The food here is good the portions are big so if you are hungry when you come in you won’t be when you leave. The desserts are a little expensive at £9:95 but I didn’t have one so they may also be very generous in size so maybe you may think it’s worth it. Nearly forgot, breakfast was excellent but for the sausages only browned off on one side the bottom of sausages were nearly raw. But it was really filling breakfast.

Bathroom in real need of maintenance

Great location and a lovely room. Food was excellent, both the evening meal and the breakfast.

Lovely room, comfortable bed and we enjoyed an excellent roast dinner too.

Very friendly helpful staff, clean room, outstanding breakfast. Couldn’t be better👍
