Location fantastic , lovely size, very spacious , beautiful dinning room, warm , all ensuite rooms. Lovely host, easy communication and very accommodating.beautiful property wonderfully high level of decor etc

Sofas uncomfortable as is main bed, (two singles mattresses on one base) very uncomfortable with the gap in between. Minor issues , oven needs a deep clean, (couldn’t use effectively due to smoking). Cooker hood greasy and light not working . Parking is tricky.

"Perfect in every way. The house was welcoming and warm on a cold December evening when we arrived."

The location was perfect for us as we wanted to attend the Dickensian evening. The action started as soon as we stepped out of the front door and the market square just a short walk. Perfect location for eating out too. The Kitchen cafe served lovely homemade food and The Cornish Arms served us an excellent Sunday lunch.

"The fantastic Tavistock Town House "

Our stay was just totally amazing. The Tavistock Town House is a beautiful, very well maintained family home in a perfect central location in Tavistock. Liz could not have been a more perfect helpful host. All the essentials and more are provided…the welcoming Afternoon tea and milk in the fridge was just the icing in the cake!…will definitely be planning another stay soon !!

Good location near to town centre. Very clean and a nice house with lovely atmosphere. Heating worked and friendly owner.

Smoke alarm too sensitive when cooking. No easy long term parking close to the property.

"Tasteful and elegant home in the centre of Tavistock"

The character of the home reflected beautifully in the soft furnishings and decor. We felt like this was our home after only a few days. Wanted for nothing. Perfect for one couple or three with so many bedrooms, and bathrooms.

The property was clean, well kept, facilities were great, all bedrooms had ensuite. I think value for money was also good considering. Fantastic location as well and close to all amenities.

Just that coffees for the machine hadn't been restocked when we arrived. Apart from that nothing to fault at all.

"Superb"

The house is lovely and like a home away from home. Location was fantastic, just a walk down the road to the city centre, pubs and restaurants. Elizabeth was a great communicator and made us feel very welcome.
