Residence Inn Topeka

Breakfast was good.

Looking old and worn. Our door was in dire need of fresh paint. Whole place seemed rather dark and tired.

Nicely organized room with kitchen and cooking necessities.

Dirty; our room didn’t get serviced during our 4-day stay. The hall and steps also got very dirty and were never vacuumed.

Good value, enjoyed the hot chocolate bar, swimming pool and spa. Room was comfortable and a good size. Decent free breakfast with blueberries for the waffles, yumm!

A little dated and wall peeling in bathroom. Turning on the light in the bathroom seemed like an intro to a horror film where it flickered for 10 seconds before settling in the on position.

Size of room and cleanliness

We had a really nice stay the week of Christmas. Our room had an L shaped couch, a coffee table and 3 chairs, as well as a table we used as our game table. The kitchen had a full sized refrigerator with ice maker, stove and dishwasher. The bed was very comfortable, and we didn't hear any outside noise once in our rooms. My favorite thing was the strong water pressure and good shower head. There was a hot chocolate station and tea/coffee station always available. We liked the fitness center. Everything very clean. It was so nice to have places to sit other than the bed, which is the only option in most hotel rooms. Highly recommend!

The carpet needs updated in the halls and elevator.

the front office staff was very attentive and professional. The king size bed was very comfortable.

The furnishings are a little outdated. Needs a little upgrade - furniture, couch, chairs. The couch was dirty and smelled a little funky.

There was a hair on the bed, a poorly lit room, and a smoke detector that flashed a green status light all night. We cancelled our second day
