Residence Inn Topeka

Just a quick overnighter for us — but everything is perfect, starting with such care for us by Shaniqua on the front desk, helping us time our car-trouble-delayed arrival to the room’s readiness. It was most appreciated! We had a spacious 2-Bedroom (Kings)/2-Bath (one with a tub) Suite with screened windows for a breeze. There is an ice machine off the lobby, next to the fitness room (free weights) and an indoor pool/jacuzzi. Breakfast is the usual delicious RI spread, including blueberry bagels so chock full of blue berries you won’t believe your eyes. Special thanks also to Shasta who helped us on the phone select our room weeks before arrival. A wonderful team here!

We stayed at Residence Inn for a short stay in Topeka. It was convenient, comfortable and spacious. We will stay again when in Topeka

On check-in staff changed our room to accommodate my recent mobility issues, which I appreciated. Room was clean and nice. Hallways and lobby showing wear.

A. It’s a Residence Inn. B. The young man handling the Breakfast routine did an outstanding job: On time -Clean - Fresh. The singular event in a dismal experience.

This property needs a severe rehab/upgrade. It’s worn out and doesn’t meet the Marriott standards. It “reeks” being a FRANCHISE - Use the Marriott name… Max the profit. The Front Desk attendant- Keith - Needs serious training in Customer Relations - Or be replaced. The way he talked to me - Knowing that I was a Lifetime Platinum Elite Member was terrible. Even a 1st time Marriott stayer should receive better treatment - Much less a best, long term customer.

Hotel was 2 out of 5. The room itself was clean and the person who treated us was very nice, the room itself had a bad odor and the noice level from the cooling system was very loud….not much sleep happened. Not only was the air conditioner loud, the unit is 3 foot from the bed.

It was a little dated but huge room. Very clean . Great water pressure and frig. Nice staff and close to restaurants. Sam’s. Shopping.

Inside was clean and pleasant. Breakfast ok. Outside needs some landscaping cleaning. Windows on the food court dirt

The room was a lot bigger than I thought it would be. Also, it was very clean and the staff was very nice. I will definitely be back if I'm in the area again.

I didn't find anything that I didn't like.. I guess if I would change something, I'd have options for recyclable cups so that no one has to wash any dishes.

Everything was good

Our room was nice and big. We had everything we needed. Dining options close by.
