Hampton Inn Commerce

This was a complete disgusting hotel, I will change my honors account if I ever experience this again. The frustrating part is this was significantly more expensive then other hilton properties. Everything was dirty, broken or just old. Update or sell because you are soiling your brand!!

Larges flying roach I have ever seen on ceiling above bed when we entered room. Obviously, wife would not stay, neither would I. Had to drive all through the night home to Florida. Took pictures of roach. Manager Trish Hales promised refund. Still has not refunded despite phone calls and written letter. STAY AWAY.

Front desk help are hit and miss. 2 good managers 2 not helpful front desk clerks, one walked out. Handicap parking at side door, but it is not working and locked. Back parking dark and scary. Told it would be open on side and the two helpful people opened it up. Had to park around other side of building once. They need to add handicap signs in front if they choose not to fix the keycard door. Been at 7 Hampton in last 3 weeks and this has been the most unfriendly one of all. Folks like us are what keep you employed. Give a little smile and service for this price.

Friendly staff, but the place is older and not being maintained well. For the price, we expect more from this brand hotel. -Bugs in the light fixtures right over the dining table at breakfast. -Mildew and mold in the rooms. We had 2 rooms and both seem to have unmanaged water issues. -Surfaces were sticky. As if cleaned, but improperly. -Carpet tiles in the room were bulging up. -A/C was not working well.

Reservations Requested king bed, was given 2queens. Changed rooms, second room had funny smell and busted lock on door to an adjoining room . Third room -ok

Bad odor

The Hotel in general was run down. Our room smelled musty. I was disappointed as I often stay at Hampton Inns because they are nicer than most Hotels. The staff was very friendly and attentive.

It was late when we arrived. The rooms were not clean. There was urine in the toilet upon entering in rm 321. The rms had a bad odor. 116 smelled like someone was smoking, 321 had a bad odor. Price was over charged.

New facility located close to the interstate sums it up. Everything was pristine and in perfect working order. The staff was friendly and helpful. Although close to the interstate highway, the rooms were quiet. The breakfast was typical for the chain. Masks for guests are optional.
