Homewood Suites by Hilton San Diego Central

We were only supposed to stay for two weeks, but we ended up staying for a month. As a dad, I want to thank the amazing kitchen crew for taking such good care of my daughter every morning. She is on the autism spectrum, and their kindness meant so much to me. A special thank you to Ms. Tata. She cared for my daughter like an auntie caring for her own niece. Thank you also to Ms. Ginalyn, Ms. Amy, Julie, and Isabel for always greeting us with a smile and making us feel at home. After one month, they became like our second family. Thank you for all the love and kindness. We will never forget it.

The staff preparing our breakfast was more than Awesome. Help me with coffee and plates to my table when hands were full. Isabel, Julie and Tata you are the best.

Service was excellent with such care!

Hotel was pretty decent. Few things to do there with kids such as the pool and very small mini golf area. Property is kept up pretty well. Bathroom door wouldn’t lock but they came right away to try and fix it but unfortunately could not. Laundry room is decent and hotel is in a good area with a Trader Joe’s across the street. The amazing part of this stay was the yummy breakfast and the social hour on Wednesdays. The kitchen ladies Julie, Ginalyn and Amelia were so wonderful. They are very kind, attentive and such hard workers. What a gem you have in those ladies!! I can’t say enough good things about them and how well they treated my twin boys. The lady that cleaned our room Sebastiana was so kind and helpful as well. These ladies all deserve recognition and a raise for taking such good care of your guests!!! Would definitely return just to greet them again. Thank you immensely.

The breakfast crew here is a wonderful group of people. From the moment you walk in, their kindness makes you feel so welcome. They are incredibly attentive, gentle, and always looking for ways to help with a genuine smile. Staying at a hotel can feel lonely, but this team makes it feel just like home. Every time you see them, they treat you with so much respect and care that you truly feel special. Their sweet and humble spirit brings so much peace to the start of the day. They are the true heart of this hotel, and I am deeply grateful for them. Thank you so much, Ms. Tata, Ms. Amelia, and Ms. Julie, for everything. Thank you for making our stay at Homewood Mira Mesa better.
