Novotel Cardiff Centre

Although we didn’t take the children on this short trip, there was so much for children to do, PlayStation, Xbox, games corner etc. was brilliant for anyone taking children. The beds were so comfy I genuinely struggled to get up. The pool was a lovely temperature considering it was warm outside. The staff were lovely and so helpful when we tried to book a taxi etc.

There was no water in the room so had to use the tap. The windows were very small.

Worst staff and facilities

Stayed for five nights again. Did the same last year. Sadly housekeeping was rather disappointing. Room was clean and comfy but because we skipped the clean on first three nights, our tea/ coffee was not replenished even when we asked for it at reception on return. On the fourth day we had room cleaned but no nepresso capsules, no toilet paper. On the last day we skipped the clean but housekeeping came to the room to replenish supplies including nepresso capsules. Rather late in the day. Given the heat wave we did need the teabags! Having said all that, the hotel is lovely and reception friendly.

The executive room was perfect The pool and facilities were great and the man that booked us in was lovely and full of knowledge
