Just come back from a 4 night stay, hotel and staff all very welcoming Good location and easy to get around on foot to town

A lovely hotel with fantastic staff and facilities

Our recent stay at the hotel de France was outstanding.all the staff from reception to the restaurant were all very friendly,polite and very attentive.

Our stay at the Hotel de France was excellent in all respects except for the super king bed where we had 2 issues: 1. The mattress was much too firm To the extent that after 2 uncomfortable nights where the hotel could not provide ay other solution we purchased a memory foam topper from the Dunelm store in St Helier 2. The duvet was too hot (10.5 tog as compared to the 4.5 tog we use at home) The only solution the hotel offered was to replace the duvet with a blanket - but that was also too hot - so we mostly slept with just the duvet cover over us. I expect to encounter such issues with a Premier Inn or similar but very disappointing with a hotel such as this where EVERYTHING else was excellent.

Just home from a lovely stay at the Hotel De France. Very friendly and accommodating staff who really couldn’t do enough to make our stay comfortable. Really grateful for allowing us to have a later brunch in place of our Saturday morning breakfast as we needed to be up early to do the Jersey Parkrun on the other side of the island. Great service from all the staff in the evening and reception were also very helpful. We will definitely recommend your hotel to friends and family! Thanks for a fab stay!

It was right and superb for our need.

We really enjoyed our stay at Hotel de France.

We stayed here 8 years ago and were pleased to see the quality of the hotel had not reduced since Covid, Storms, the end of the world etc. We had a lovely balcony room, which was serviced perfectly each day of our stay. Plenty of towels, refreshments etc and a nice cold fridge. Nothing was too much trouble for the breakfast and reception staff and the spa area was good as new! On the downside, whilst the breakfast was delicious, with lots of choice, it would have been easier if the hash browns, beans and black pudding were on the buffet, rather than having to order seperately. Good to be able to order eggs how we liked them though. The food and bar prices were a little expensive (as is everything nowadays) and we were sad to see the lounge bar was closed, but other than that, all wonderful!

Lovely hotel - very clean and spacious with heath and fitness centre - indoor swimmiing pool and spa available to guests The road up to the hotel from the main road and nearby bus stop is very steep with numerous steps ofr pedestrians Main car park is at the lower end of the entrance
