Could be cleaner in common areas and bathroom a bit run down.

The room was very nice and clean.

The breakfast was not the best.

I don't normally take the time to write a review but the front desk person by the name of Bridget (who we interacted with mostly during her late shift on Saturday night, 6/28) had such exemplary, like truly exquisite, service that I just MUST. Bridget was so kind, patient, and helpful to myself and my family during our stay at the Holiday Inn Salem. We were here for a wedding which, although joyful, can be stressful and with the help of Bridget our stress melted away. She was prompt to help us, incredibly friendly, and just overall amazing at her job. I hope she continues to bless the hospitality industry with her skill and charm so if any manager or supervisor of hers ever sees this: hold on to Bridget! And give her a raise while you are at it. Thank you Bridget!

The room smelled of cigarette smoke. We asked to be moved. The hotel was filled so we had to stay, however Liz was very nice and had someone from housekeeping come up to spray Febreze, which help a bit. Also we were not told there was a fee for parking until we checked out.

Liked the on site resturaunt

Was very nice to have the morning cafe breakfast as complimentary and also the mexican restaurant on site was very good. I had quite a lot of trouble getting the hot tub to work and couldn't get the jets to come on without A LOT of button pushes.

website says "FREE PARKING" and got charged $3.00 a day for parking. other unexplained charges, and manager not available to explain.

Staff was friendly, room was very nice, loved the pools and hot tub. Just a great environment

My mother-in-law and I stayed one night. The hotel, while older, was clean and comfortable for an overnight stay. Staff were very friendly and helpful both at check-in and in the breakfast area.

The price we paid was high for the quality/ type of facility. The one working elevator made me laugh because we never arrived on our floor without some sort of interesting additional floor stops and direction changes. Breakfast, which we paid for separately, was greasy and not particularly enjoyable. We did appreciate however not having to go search out a breakfast somewhere else.
