Fairfield Inn & Suites Austin University Area

The rooms were clean and staff were really helpful.

Breakfast was average. Not that great compared to other Fairfield Inns that I have stayed with.

The front desk clerk offered house keeping every night. I didn't get it for even one night. There was a power failure starting early in the evening of my 2nd day and I didn't have power or TV all night. The front desk clerks were not very helpful and add a bad attitude about providing feedback on the problems. I feel I should get a refund.

Fits my needs, clean, quiet, not too far from downtown. Staff is very nice.

Spacious rooms in clean, friendly hotel with amazing staff. I stayed here for SXSW 2025. Bri and Juanita took care of everything including the unexpected. One of my guests fell ill on the day we were checking out. She was unable to move or travel at that point, so Bri and Juanita helped me extend her stay. Their warmth and caring really impressed me as oftentimes in business travel it's not even possible to speak to a person to see if help is available. I also called back later with some questions about my bill, and Bri walked me through the details. Thank you so much Bri and Juanita. I highly recommend this hotel when visiting the Austin area. Lyft rides to downtown and the convention center were very affordable.

Amazing service. Helpdesk was very courteous.

We arrived very late in the evening and the hotel employees were wonderful and the breakfast was good. However, there is construction surrounding the building and the air conditioner was either on at full tilt freezing the room or off. The rest of the room was comfortable and clean.
